Happy belated birthday wishes to
simply_fly_away and
feelingcold I hope you both had fantastic days ♥
My boys set off for France yesterday. After days of packing and lists and gathering the stuff they needed -- also ironing creases in the stupid neckers multiple times, something I'm trying to block out -- Corey still managed to leave his sleeping bag behind. Which he found out at the meeting site for the coach and meant him having to be driven back by a scout dad and just getting back in time.
It's so quiet without them here and while I'm going to enjoy the time to do what I want I'm going to miss them. Heck, I am missing them. The bed was very big and lonely last night, even with Milo sleeping with me.
This morning there was stress when Asda phoned and said there was an issue with my grocery order that was due to be delivered this morning. Well, I say phone but what I got was one of those weird talked text messages saying I had until 9 to sort it out or it would be cancelled. The time they sent the message? 8:15. I called them and it was an issue to do with the debit card, which is in James' name, so they wouldn't talk to me at all. I told them he was out of the country and asked if I could pay another way, but they were having none of it. In the end I had to let the order cancel and reorder for delivery tomorrow, and I really hope that goes through okay.
Still, plans for the day. Writing, reading, watching tv, catching up on emails, chilling with the animals. Not a bad way to spend time at all.
erilyn posted some excellent gifs today, including some that gave me much glee. Mikey with his tambourine! Way hugs with stealth FOB.
To end, the meme that's been going around lately.

Date: 2009-05-23 08:34 pm (UTC)I was laughing to myself this morning that just after I was celebrating grocery delivery I got that message. I mean, I get with it being James' card they need to talk to him but why they wouldn't allow a different form of payment I don't know.
