Two nights ago I had a detailed dream that was pretty much a high school AU in dream form. One where Gabe wanted to date me. The fact I was already attached didn't bother him in the slightest. In fact he was very persistent and by the end he'd worn me down. Just so you know, in my dreams Gabe is a very good kisser.

I never used to have celebrity dreams, but this makes the third I can remember clearly. The one where MCR were shooting a video in a plaza and I watched from a coffee shop as Mikey shimmied in his silver sparkly catsuit -- believe me, that memory is going nowhere, and the one where I met Bob at a club in Disneyland. The fact Bob dressed in drag at one point means that's another that'll stick in my memory.

So tell me flist/circle, do you ever have celeb dreams? And if so, tell me all about them.

I don't exactly have celeb. dreams. It's kind of hard to explain. My dreams can be vivid and mildly lucid and usually tell a story and the cast'll usually change from people I know to people I don't to characters in tv shows/to recently bandompeople(not to mention one weird time Nsync...when I was younger...I think we were all trapt in a maze trying to find our way out)...If I remember any good dreams that have celebs in them I will totally come back here and tell you though:D

I envy you, dreaming about being kissed by Gabe! I seldom remember my dreams and it's very rare that those I do remember feature celebrities of any kind. I do remember having a very nice one with Nick Carter a few years ago. I think I was in some kind of witness protection program and the house where I was living was next door to Nick's and for some reason we got to know each other. He was an incredibly nice guy I remember. AND good in bed too ;-D

PS I love the new crosspost feature. I wanted to see what people had said on your LJ post and the link was right there, no more hunting around for the right entry!

I don't have them regularly, but the ones I remember having are pretty vivid. There was a completely X-rated one with assorted bandom dudes and me. There was one where William was just talking to me. And then two that made such a strong impression that they stayed with me all day the next day: in one, I was having an affair with Pete Wentz who was President of the USA and Michelle Obama (his wife, obviously o.O) had sicced the press on us and OUR LOVE WAS SO TRAGIC OMG. I was depressed for the whole day afterwards lol

And the best dream was when I spent an afternoon with Pete, Andy, Patrick and William in a Chicago snowstorm, just hanging in their flat *as a fan* and asking them questions about their new albums and TAI TV, all the while hoping I wasn't being an intrusive/annoying fangirl. And then they all hugged me. *facepalm* This one left me feeling happy for a while, actually, so I don't care how lame it is lol

Dude, Pete as President and your doomed love! That is tragic!

Your best dream isn't lame at all. Getting to hang like that would be fantastic, especially when the time ended with hugs. That's a lovely dream.

I have had many, many celeb dreams. Until bandom they tended to be hilariously intellectual affairs - in college, I had lengthy dream conversations with Bono about religion, metaphysics and chaos theory. Which... is my brain in a nutshell, really. The weirdest celeb dream was the one with Jack Wagner - that soap star who recorded an album in the 80s? I was pretty 'WTF are you doing here????' in my dream too.

In general, I tend to be chatty with celebs in my dreams.

There was one in which I had a great conversation with Gerard about underworld imagery in picture books [which led to a hilarious tangent about Where's Waldo] - in that one there was also this whole trying to set up a coffee date with P Stump and neither one of us being able to figure out how to program numbers in his new phone.

Oh, and there's this recurring brothers Way as the most excellent roommates ever theme. My dream brain insists that, if you ignore their complete inability to do laundry EVER, they are awesome to live with. [We have [livejournal.com profile] themoononastick's old fridge in the flat. Gerard and I took a dimensional rift on over to her house to pick it - and a pile of his swag - up.]

There are a pile of coffeehouse dreams too. My dream mind supports all the 'Jon Walker is an awesome barista' tropes.

I think the only memeber of MCR who I haven't dreamt about is Ray.

And I will stop there. :D

I never used to have them, not even about popbanders when I was in popslash, but for some reason bandomers show up with rather alarming regularity. I can't remember the last good one, though.

Silver sparkly catsuit. That is the definition of awesome. And somewhere out in the world, Mikeyway just shuddered in horror and *doesn't even know why*. [giggling]

I've had a few but the only one I vividly remember involved various MCR/FOB/TYV members, steampunk-esque weapons and clothing, and me leading a rebel army that consisted of these bandom figures trying to take down the oppressing government that was trying to create some utopian society against our will/better judgement.

It was both epic and terrifying all at once.

I've had many, many bandom dreams, but I think my favorite was this: it was ridiculously long and complicated, but it essentially boiled down to me on uke and vocals, MikeyWay on accoustic guitar and vocals, Alicia on bass and Bob on drums, all in a indie rock/folk/blues band. Occasionally Patrick would guest on banjo. We were signed to Decaydance, and would be the band they'd put on the lineup at Warped 'to mellow the kids out'. We we known in the press as 'that band that doesn't look like a folk band' (Mikey, Alicia and Bob would all be head to toe black and eyeliner and studded belts, I'd be in floor length gowns just because) and 'the new Abba' (I may have also been dating Bob in the dream, so it was a band of couples).
It was such an awesome dream.

Bob Bryar in a dress would be amazingly unforgettable.

Every once and a while I'll have these awesome full blown dreams about celebrities (mostly bands). In one, Pete went out and bought a ranch in northern Canada and there was a cow involved?

Also, the epic Gerard and Micheal Way (Darling)  peter pan dream.

And the one where Gerard is off to art school, Mikey is taken captive by a witch, Frank is a Knight and Ray his Squire and Pete owns a bakery?  Oh and Panic at the Disco are cats.

Okay, I have to admit both laughing and being scared for the cow when Pete is around.

Don't worry, Andy will be there! (clears throat)

Pete watches a late night special about the prairies of Canada on TV one night when he couldn't sleep. And the entire living room is dark but for the flickering comfort of the TV with it's soft dialogue; he's slowly charmed by the rolling stretches of fields dotted so sparsely with farm houses surrounded by magnificent hedges of trees and the storms where you can see lightening dance for miles.

And a horse! He could own a horse or a cow. He could own two cows that would low calmly at each other. And it's not even really morning before he's talking himself into it, has his phone open and texting real estate agents and that pretty girl from Arcade Fire because she's Canadian and will totally help him out because he's awesome. (Patrick gets a phone call an hour later from Sarah asking him if Pete is feverish and Patrick has to go check)

And so Patrick knows what's going on -- Pete was going to keep it a secret and be all sneaky but it was Patrick and the minute he came to check Pete's completely non-fevered brow he spilled the beans -- but no one else doe and Pete gets to be sneaky anyway by planning Canadian tourdates! That just happen to be in places like Calgary and Medicine Hat and Edmonton and Regina and spread oddly far apart.

No one askes why they randomly stop in places like Seven Persons or Manyberries but Patrick has a freakout because srsly Pete there is nothing for miles anywhere and also Canada! Which is so far from LA and Chicago it isn't even funny! This is an intervention (with Mixon on speakerphone and Andy mostly for moral support). "Pete you aren't Canadian!" "What about the internet?" "What will you do about Starbucks."

Andy is horrible moral support though. Has Pete considered the possibility of making his mini-farm green? Solar panels and organic gardening and windmills would be cool. The intervention ends with Pete in Patrick's lap, head tucked under his chin as they study the land plan of a few options and discuss upkeep (and where to put the cows).

(Pete cannot wait for the cows, srsly. Moo.)
