Two nights ago I had a detailed dream that was pretty much a high school AU in dream form. One where Gabe wanted to date me. The fact I was already attached didn't bother him in the slightest. In fact he was very persistent and by the end he'd worn me down. Just so you know, in my dreams Gabe is a very good kisser.
I never used to have celebrity dreams, but this makes the third I can remember clearly. The one where MCR were shooting a video in a plaza and I watched from a coffee shop as Mikey shimmied in his silver sparkly catsuit -- believe me, that memory is going nowhere, and the one where I met Bob at a club in Disneyland. The fact Bob dressed in drag at one point means that's another that'll stick in my memory.
So tell me flist/circle, do you ever have celeb dreams? And if so, tell me all about them.

Date: 2010-06-08 04:29 pm (UTC)And the best dream was when I spent an afternoon with Pete, Andy, Patrick and William in a Chicago snowstorm, just hanging in their flat *as a fan* and asking them questions about their new albums and TAI TV, all the while hoping I wasn't being an intrusive/annoying fangirl. And then they all hugged me. *facepalm* This one left me feeling happy for a while, actually, so I don't care how lame it is lol

Date: 2010-06-08 05:06 pm (UTC)Dude, Pete as President and your doomed love! That is tragic!
Your best dream isn't lame at all. Getting to hang like that would be fantastic, especially when the time ended with hugs. That's a lovely dream.

Date: 2010-06-08 04:57 pm (UTC)In general, I tend to be chatty with celebs in my dreams.
There was one in which I had a great conversation with Gerard about underworld imagery in picture books [which led to a hilarious tangent about Where's Waldo] - in that one there was also this whole trying to set up a coffee date with P Stump and neither one of us being able to figure out how to program numbers in his new phone.
Oh, and there's this recurring brothers Way as the most excellent roommates ever theme. My dream brain insists that, if you ignore their complete inability to do laundry EVER, they are awesome to live with. [We have
There are a pile of coffeehouse dreams too. My dream mind supports all the 'Jon Walker is an awesome barista' tropes.
I think the only memeber of MCR who I haven't dreamt about is Ray.
And I will stop there. :D

Date: 2010-06-09 12:54 am (UTC)Every once and a while I'll have these awesome full blown dreams about celebrities (mostly bands). In one, Pete went out and bought a ranch in northern Canada and there was a cow involved?
Also, the epic Gerard and Micheal Way (Darling) peter pan dream.
And the one where Gerard is off to art school, Mikey is taken captive by a witch, Frank is a Knight and Ray his Squire and Pete owns a bakery? Oh and Panic at the Disco are cats.

Date: 2010-06-12 07:25 pm (UTC)Okay, I have to admit both laughing and being scared for the cow when Pete is around.
Your Gerard and Michael Way dream is epic. Wow. I've just been reading and enjoying all the details.

That's just. Amazing! As is Panic as cats. I love your brain!

Date: 2010-06-14 01:01 am (UTC)Don't worry, Andy will be there! (clears throat)
Pete watches a late night special about the prairies of Canada on TV one night when he couldn't sleep. And the entire living room is dark but for the flickering comfort of the TV with it's soft dialogue; he's slowly charmed by the rolling stretches of fields dotted so sparsely with farm houses surrounded by magnificent hedges of trees and the storms where you can see lightening dance for miles.
And a horse! He could own a horse or a cow. He could own two cows that would low calmly at each other. And it's not even really morning before he's talking himself into it, has his phone open and texting real estate agents and that pretty girl from Arcade Fire because she's Canadian and will totally help him out because he's awesome. (Patrick gets a phone call an hour later from Sarah asking him if Pete is feverish and Patrick has to go check)
And so Patrick knows what's going on -- Pete was going to keep it a secret and be all sneaky but it was Patrick and the minute he came to check Pete's completely non-fevered brow he spilled the beans -- but no one else doe and Pete gets to be sneaky anyway by planning Canadian tourdates! That just happen to be in places like Calgary and Medicine Hat and Edmonton and Regina and spread oddly far apart.
No one askes why they randomly stop in places like Seven Persons or Manyberries but Patrick has a freakout because srsly Pete there is nothing for miles anywhere and also Canada! Which is so far from LA and Chicago it isn't even funny! This is an intervention (with Mixon on speakerphone and Andy mostly for moral support). "Pete you aren't Canadian!" "What about the internet?" "What will you do about Starbucks."
Andy is horrible moral support though. Has Pete considered the possibility of making his mini-farm green? Solar panels and organic gardening and windmills would be cool. The intervention ends with Pete in Patrick's lap, head tucked under his chin as they study the land plan of a few options and discuss upkeep (and where to put the cows).
(Pete cannot wait for the cows, srsly. Moo.)
