Things that are making me happy right now.

These old pictures of Mikey from the Watchmen Promo they did. I love those outfits with the power of a thousand burning suns. The tie, the crisp white shirt, the waistcoat,
I also love the lurking wives in these shots.
This very awesome mug thatpensnest made for me. I got it at Camp Sparkle but kept forgetting to take a picture.
In reality it's not as red as this, more a burgundy than red. But whatever the colour, I love it.
Frank's blog and his description of Mikey. Hearts. In. My. Eyes! I love that pairing so much but don't actually write them that often. Well, Tints verse is Mikey/Frank, so is Bob in Spaaaaace, and okay, looking at my masterlist there's a lot of random Mikey/Frank in there, but still. I've written much more Mikey/Pete lately. I'm stalled on my ongoing stories at the moment, I should just go grab a square from one of the bingos and go write me some Mikey/Frank. In fact, I could lay the bingo cards together and kill three birds with one stone. Let's see, what would I get if I picked the top right hand corner? A cage in Napoleonic Europe and a first Thanksgiving, which really, that isn't going to happen. Trying again. Bottom left. The afterlife and agoraphobia and a blind date. Oh wow, that is not a good blind date. I think it would have to be some afterlife verse where people are around, but you know, are dead. Then Frank could have died saving his dog from being hit by a car so now he stays in his safe afterlife house and never actually goes out and then one day he's messing online -- because he's gone to a good place and anywhere good has the internet, even if it is the afterlife version -- and signs accidentally signs up for Deadly Death Dates and of course is matched to Mikey and next thing he knows he's getting contacted by Mikey who turns up for a blind date which consists of them sitting in Frank's house and spying on people in the living world.
The FiL just came to visit and brought 6 sky lanterns James needed for the scouts. They're going to look so pretty when they set them off tomorrow night. Hopefully they don't set something on fire, like the field that surrounds the scout hut.
We've had our first strawberry! I shared it with James and it was delicious. The courgette seeds I planted are thriving too, they've grown inches in days. I think they're relatives of the mutant cucumber.
I'm really liking Don't Stop, the demo as sung by JC that's been going around. It's good to hear music from him again.

I had to wiki sky lanterns, they look wonderful. I hope they'll have lots of fun lighting them and watching them sail away in the night sky. And yes, hopefully they won't start any fires while they're doing it.
Strawberries!! I found a ripe wild strawberry a couple of days ago but most of them are still unripe. You better watch those courgettes, we don't want to hear that anything nasty has happened to you. I've read

It's the best mug ever! It sits next to my Chris mug in the cupboard and makes me very happy.
Ahahaha, yeah. Tints is Bob/Gerard I guess. But mostly Frank/Mikey :P
Sadly they didn't get to set off the sky lanterns due to the horrible wind we've been having. But, it did die down last night and I was sitting watching TV when I saw something fiery fly across the sky. It seems someone else bought some, and they look like tiny fire balls just floating along. They're amazing. Though I do worry about where they land.
I've read the fourthvine's posts too, and it didn't click at first that zuccinies ( wow, mangled spelling or what? ) and courgettes were the same thing. Turlough, they're scary! I had to re-pot them already.

Isn't it funny how you suddenly realize you have a fic thing? I saw a description of my fic on one of those anonymous memes, and it was all "this h/c author Shine" and I was all surprised "but I'm not an h/c author!" And then I actually went back to look at the story where Arthur falls in the frozen river, and the story where Merlin breaks his skull, and the story where MERLIN falls in the river, and the story where...okay, yeah. [sheepish]
And I heart your Frank/Mikey like burning. BURNING. So much heart. The Tintsverse is just such an utterly gorgeous evocative universe, and Mikey and Frank are so amazingly awesomely lovely there.
