turpsThat BB!MCR video that hit my flist this morning is delightful! There's so much I like about it, way up there being Mikey messing up Gerard's hair and Gerard saying he has two little brothers. Which I've decided means that Frank and Mikey got drunk and ended up getting hitched. I don't care if it wouldn't be legal, just, I've been amusing myself imagining them dropping a wedding certificate on Gerard's lap -- Gerard who is spectacularly hung over -- and Mikey being all :| we got married last night. Accidental drunken marriages, a trope I'll always enjoy.

Also,slashxmistress's 30 Days of Ryan Ross had It's Almost Halloween and I love that video so much. It's ridiculous happy fun.
Today is James' last day at work before he goes off on sick leave until the middle of January. Which is why I'm spending the time with Kerrang on the TV and watching my downloaded shows without headphones. Also, just to get this in here as I know James'll be reading. The next time he asks me to make him a hot drink and then promptly falls asleep on the couch letting it go cold. Mug meet head time. I'm just saying.

How about using to add some humor to killjoys verse? Mikey and Frank go off on a supplies run to visit Gabe and come back viciously hung-over, sporting new ink and married. :D :D

\o/ Quick as hell comment fic for you.
They've been back for all of a minute when Gerard sees the new ink.
He would have seen earlier, but it's Frank who shrugs off his jacket first, groaning theatrically as folds to the ground, like it's too much effort to remain standing. Head in his hands he groans again, and Gerard turns, planning to get a can of kibble and wave it under Frank's nose.
First though, he claps his hands next to Mikey's ear, voice loud as he says, "Hey, Mikey. Had fun at Gabe's?"
"Fuck you," Mikey says blankly, each movement deliberate as he takes off his own jacket. His eyes are half closed and he's such a fetching shade of green that Gerard's planning to get two cans of kibble, when finally, he sees.
"The fuck?" Gerard grabs Mikey's hand and pulls his arm upward so he can take a better look. It doesn't help. The tattoo's still there, the fucking ugly tattoo. Crimson and black lines slashing across the reddened skin of Mikey's inner arm. If Gerard squints he can vaguely make out some kind of creature, and numbers, a blurry form of yesterday's date.
"It's a ghoul," Mikey says.
Gerard's stomach drops, his baby brother senses almost screaming. "What did you do?"
Frank holds up his own arm, where, almost hidden amongst his other ink, is something Gerard assumes is Cobra. Frank looks from the fresh tattoo to Gerard. "Gabe had hooch."
Gerard starts to pace. "Gabe always has hooch. He's Gabe. That's what he does, it doesn't mean you had to get fucking ugly tattoos."
"And get married," Mikey says, casually, like he's not adding a match to gasoline.
"You got married" Gerard yells, his hands in his hair. "To Frank."
Frank glares up at Gerard. "Of course to me, who fucking else would he marry? And before you ask, we can't annul, we consummated it, at length. Ask Gabe."
Gerard keeps breathing, just, for once words actually failing him as he stalks from the room.

Gee stares out the gleeful shithead big brother and ends up absolutely horrified. Best description of bad ink ever! I love how cranky and TMI-sharing Frank is, and how casually Mikey drops the nuptial bomb. Ah, I'm still giggling.

I imagine that he's throwing rocks at the targets out back too [you know, the targets they set up to practice with the ray guns]. Gee keeps missing though. He's ray gun aim's milkshake, but his throwing arm is crap.
