I'm so freaking mad just now.

Spent the last two days stripping Blue2 ready for my new computer to come today. Just had a phone call saying the delivery driver had some bad news and can't deliver it, so would Thursday do?

I don't think so!

I don't get mad often but mess with my computer at your peril. I phoned the shop we're buying it from and was told the manager was busy with another customer who'd been let down, so I told him to phone back. He did and I was polite, but didn't give him an inch. I told him that I'd lost my shop loyalty ( We've bought our last two computers there and he knows that ) and I thought his delivery drivers suck. That this was no way to treat customers, that James had lost half a days pay waiting for delivery and I wasn't happy at all. Plus he tried to give a different excuse than the first guy who phoned. I soon let him know that he was talking crap and one of them was lying.

Result is we're getting an emergency delivery in the morning and £20 in goods next time we're at the shop.

I'm just pissed now. I know it's only a small thing in the scheme of things, but Blue2 is stripped to the bare programmes. I've no pics, fics, media files, songs, anything on him. I've a freaking generic sunset as my wallpaper for gods sake. Which will change within seconds.

I just think if you're promised delivery, you should get the delivery, that's all.

*hugs*

poor baby! *hugs* I can't believe how moronic those computer guys can be - the worse thing is that you can't really do anything except yell at them (and then again, it doesn't make them hurry up). Sorry about James who had to sit at home waiting for it, and I'm really, really sorry for you: I can imagine you sitting in front of an empty blue, with no fic to entertain you... *more hugs*

I just think if you're promised delivery, you should get the delivery, that's all.

I'm with you on that - kinda like having to take your computer four times to the shop to get the CD-DVD player working... but yelling paid off and they extended my warranty for 6 months - maybe your guys will do something like that as well (free goods would be nice)

You rock, sis! You showed them, didn't you? Maybe next time, they'll think twice before trying to lie to one of their customers, or to give them BS.

You did good in telling them you weren't happy at all, they tend to think they've got all the power, you know? *g*

I just can picture you getting all Domme on the guy *purrs*

Thanks for the hugs, just what I needed :)

It just annoys me that these people know that they have you where it hurts. Unless you're some kind of computer expert who can fix/make your own PC you have to rely on other people.

No one should abuse their power like that. What pissed me off so much was that they lied about why it wasn't coming. I understand that things go wrong, but when two different people say different excuses you have to know someone's lying. Then to say the next slot is Thursday!

But yeah, some good is coming of it, I just wish people didn't have to yell and create a fuss to get what they're entitled to.

I scared myself a bit *g*

I always moan in here but I don't usually confront people in RL, I tend to let things go. But man, he phoned just as James and I were just taking the last lot of things off Blue2. I've been transferring files for the last two days. Then Jim had sat and transferred all my e-mails one by one so I didn't lose any.

When the guy phoned I was so pissed. So I got straight onto the manager of the shop and really told him what I thought of his shop, his delivery drivers, and threatened to cancel the contract and take my business elsewhere. I didn't yell, just stated my case, even though I was fuming when he gave a different excuse. I may have told him he was talking crap then *g*

I was *very* Domme, I was cracking my virtual whip *eg*

Oh I will. If the delivery doesn't come by dinner time tomorrow I'll be using that cross bow.

Don't know if you still need some, but here it is again: *hugs*

my father calls those people "morons with power issues - and small dicks" (translated from French by yours truely). They're the kind of persons who know they will never be of any significance to the world and they're sick about it, therefore it's their way of giving the world the finger and of trying to prove to themselves that they're not so powerless. The 'dick' comment was just for insult I guess lol

Man, I can relate to that! Last Christmas my father and my sister's father in law got new computers, so, as always, we decided to give the old computers to people who didn't have them.

Well, both of them wanted all their personal files removed first, so I bribed Dave (My brother in law who is a computer whiz) to do that. I traded doing his chores at home for a few weeks, running errands, things like that.

And you know what? Both damn computers are STILL waiting to be wiped! Not only will he not do it, he doesn't seem to remember that he said he WOULD do it, and that he's already been "paid" to do it. He's a schmeg head.

But glad you got some results on your problem! Kick their asses, girl! :)
