We went to see Tron 3D last night. I'd mention the flimsy plot, but that would be implying there was any plot at all. Seriously, we walked out talking about how it was amazing eye candy, but nothing actually happened. Yet, despite that I really enjoyed it. What I didn't enjoy was beforehand when I tripped over my own feet going up the stairs to the bar and walloped my shins off the top step. Thankfully the only thing hurt was my pride.

It's my SiLs birthday today, so after going to nanna's we're off to see her, then grocery shopping, to someone who needs James to fix their computer, then home for an ironing session while watching TV, and no_tags later in the night. Of course that depends on how Corey's feeling when he wakes up, as when we got back last night he wasn't feeling that well.

After coming home last night I finished the first draft of the Killjoys verse gsf/Bob, and a story I was so sure would top out at 20k max is at 45 in draft form. I should go re-read what I actually wrote for the end as it was pretty late at the time. Then I'll probably go, self, really?

I guess I should go get a start on being productive. The first step of which is surely to make more coffee and mess online for a little bit more.

I'm vainly trying to remember if the first Tron movie had a plot but it's been too long since I watched it. I remember that I really enoyed it though. I think I still have an old VHS-made-from-tv of it somewhere.

Stupid step, being in the way like that!

I was actually trying to do the same last night. I've seen the movie but can't remember what actually happened in it, which suggests that maybe that was plot light too.

I'm telling you, it was a ninja step.

Not that bad, and I'm about to go soak in the bath awhile. Which is a nice end to a busy day.

Oh, and I have a question as I know you're into such things and want opinions. How would you label a mcr gsf plus Bob in killjoys verse? GSF/Bob?

Hmmmmm... *ponders* I think you can go with either GSF or Bob/GSF. Technically it isn't GSF since Bob isn't in the band any longer but in practice I think most people will think of it as plain GSF. I know I will almost certainly label it as such.

Coffee and surfing, it's all part of the process. Especially when the majority of the day is so busy - yeesh! A deep breath before starting on that is well warranted.

Also, congrats on finishing the draft! That's always a great milestone, because from then on you can polish instead of carving.

Clearly my decision to have an early night last night was a bad one. The last time I checked the doc you'd stopped writing halfway through a sentence and the wait to find out what happened next was driving me crazy!

Oh pffft. All I did was send the occasional email saying 'You can do it!!!'. You did all the hard work of plot construction and writing yourself.

You can either give me editing status on the doc or I can d/l a copy and beta in word - either/or is fine with me so you choose which works best for you.

Can you download without me changing your status? If so I think that way, then I can keep the raw copy in case of re-writes, and scenes that may need adding.

I can, yes! And I have. Keeping a raw copy of something this long is a very good idea,plus I find word easier to work in. :)
