Corey went to his first concert last night. He came home wet from the drinks people were throwing in the crowd, talking about how the band was throwing toilet paper into the audience and pretty much exhausted. A good first concert I think.

It was a long day yesterday, hanging out at the garage for a few hours while the car got its service, then onto the hospital so James could get his wrist checked, then a late night. Tonight I'm planning for a hot bath and then an early night because man, this morning was brutal.

Nice, yeah? I've a month to do those, and I really hope that I do because I'd like some successes for the challenge. One of the prompts actually fits something I'm writing perfectly, I'll just need to think of something for the other two. Actually, it would also fit that Ryan as a drac I was throwing about. Either that or my random_bandom will be a Pete/Mikey where they go undercover at some ski resort, get caught by a tribe of Yetis who keep them in an ice cage and then ritually sacrifice one of them.

I've just been looking at the scans from RockSound that have been posted at mychemicalromance -- and btw, if you're not a member of that comm you should be, imsinkingfast does a great job -- and in the A-Z for MCR X is for X-rated, because apparently their fans are a bunch of pervs. Which, really. I'm shocked and appalled!

Right, bath and book time for me, and yet again I'm getting no comment notifications at LJ. Hopefully they'll be fixed soon.

He really is growing up. We spent almost an hour picking the band tees he wanted for his birthday. Apparently getting the right one was a hard decision.

I don't know! Those are details for when I get my beta file back demanding comfort *g*

My bath was awesome, so much so I ended up reading in it for two hours and didn't get my early night.

He is getting old. I was just thinking that one moment you're blowing up hundreds of balloons for a bouncy castle birthday party and the next he's heading out with his hair all flat ironed and well over a foot taller than I am.

I also signed up for the mini challenge, since I couldn't turn in one single story for the regular round. No idea what I'm going to do, though! Plus "wild card" has to be a FOURTH thing that you choose yourself, how cruel is that? Asking us to voluntarily participate in this madness? lol

Ryan as an undercover Drac would be amazing. Also, it gets pretty cold in the desert at night, I'm just sayin'.

Making us choose is cruel! Though my card isn't as bad as it could have been as I said yes to any prompts. If mpreg was added to the mix I would have cried.

For my mini challenge I've got 'undercover: being forced to do an illegal activity', 'being shown the error of their ways', and 'experiments by evil scientists'. I don't know what I'm technically claiming for the wildcard, it's already got four or five other prompts crammed in. But as soon as I put Ryan Ross in a cage this little voice in my head went off all TURPS IS GONNA SMILE WHEN SHE READS THIS. Because I now apparently associate you with cages. *shrugs*

mmmm you gotta write one story with all four prompts (which sounds so hard, LOL alina is evil). Will all three (and whatever you choose for WC) fit into that story you're writing?

I realised that this morning reading comments, I swear my brain isn't switched on at times. But I agree she's evil! An evil genius.

It probably would fit the story, the problem is time. It shouldn't be as I'm already months late anyway, but it's a story I want to do right and not rush. So, I suspect I may shove Ryan into pink jeep verse, and have him be sacrificed *g*
