turpsI've been out today and came home to pictures of Mikey in amazing silver pants!
And thendelphinapterus pointed me to video of a radio interview by Mikey and Ray where they talk about such things as Mikey stocking up on clothes when he's in Japan as he finds it hard to find stuff to fit in the US, and by which it appears he means, stocking up on silver, shiny pants.
Ray and Mikey turn up around 8:40 and they're geektastic. I love them ♥
And then

I laughed so much at this interview, they're adorable. And with the addition of silver, shiny pants Mikey's adorableness is off the scale!
Mentioning them for the third time in one comment. Shiny, silver pants don't motivate you? If not, have a threat. Go write or I'll post the waycest snippet that wasn't finished for porn battle and you'll have to read and comment on it >:(

“It’s apple sauce,” Gerard says, and holds up his hand. “She was finger painting.”
Gerard’s proud. It’s there in the tilt of his head and the slope of his smile, the way he rests his fingertips over sticky green blotches; fitting his fingers over the tiny handprint that decorates his arm.
Mikey’s hands are pressed close to his thighs, his shoulders pulled in tight. He says, “It looks like a dragon.”
“I know, right,” Gerard says, and he grins.

Upstairs mom is cooking. Mikey can hear her, footsteps and clattering pans, the radio playing as Donna sings along. Songs about sunshine and summer, about heartbreak and loss.
Mikey grins when Gerard joins in, singing in a forced falsetto. His voice cracks on a high note and Gerard’s laughter is warm air against Mikey’s bare stomach.
“Loser,” Mikey says fondly. He can feel sweat slide down his neck and his glasses are smeared. He giggles when Gerard blows a raspberry against his ribs. “What are you, five?”
“No,” Gerard says, and he pushes himself up, the mattress dipping under his hands and knees. He straddles Mikey’s body, crawls with an intensity that cuts through the laughter. Gerard stills and his hair is falling forward, long and greasy; brushing against Mikey’s face.
Mikey bends his leg, knee splayed out and he jabs his toes against Gerard’s side, making his flesh dimple. “Mom’s upstairs.”
Gerard lowers himself down, his body fitted against Mikey’s, hot and heavy and perfect, he says, “So we’ll be quiet.”
Mikey breathes, shallow, his chest rising against Gerard’s.

“It’s like, what if, what if I do it wrong?”
“You won’t,” Mikey says. They’re hidden away, tucked into an alcove, and for this moment it’s only them, that one step removed from the bustle beyond. He repeats, “You won’t.”
Gerard nods, and then says, his voice pitched low, “I’m scared.”
“I know,” Mikey says, and he puts his arm around Gerard’s shoulder, urging him forward. “Come on, it’s time to go back, dad.”
