turpsIt was an interesting start to the day when we had a power cut just before 7. One that nearly had me falling off the treadmill when it suddenly stopped dead. Thankfully it wasn't as bad as it could have been as an hour earlier and it would have knocked off the alarms and we'd have slept in. As it is I just bumbled around in the dark for a while and got stuff done that didn't need any electric. Since then we've been to the cinema and had a good old cry over a sad chick flick, went shopping and am now home for a few hours before heading out to Corey's gold scout presentation ceremony.
I remain sad about the situation with Ashlee and Pete. I never had an idea that there were problems with their marriage, and they always looked happy together. Also, I worry about Pete, which is ridiculous I know. But it's so obvious that he adores Bronx, and it has to feel like it's another thing being taken from him. Not that I have any ill-feelings toward Ashlee either, I just think that it's a horrible situation, and I really hope Pete's nowhere near the internet right now.
However, for a happier comment, even a day later the picture of Ryan Ross on a mechanical bull remains of so much win.

random_bandom stands at just under 2k right now. 2k of shameless pwp which I'm going to try to add to and finsih now before hanging with the scout people. But maybe a coffee first.
ETA: I forgot to mention. I saw one of my neighbours at the local shop and she asked how my writing of poems was going. At which point I just looked at her stupidly and thought, the fuck? First people thinking I make my living writing porn books and now this. I tell you, my talents surprise even me.

I just can't believe it could come to the level of divorce papers so quickly, so hope they've had the split on going for a while but have just made it official. Still, amicable or not it has to hurt.
