Apr. 14th, 2011 07:40 pmJames is doing night shifts right now, so we've been going out during the day. Yesterday we went to the cinema and saw Sucker Punch, which I liked a lot. Though, 20 minutes after the official start time, James had to go ask why the movie hadn't actually started as we were all sat looking at an blank screen, and found out that the projectionist had forgot about it and was sitting having a cup of tea. Also, I think I forgot to actually mention this here, James has been given a full time contract. Moving jobs to something part time was always going to be a financial hit, so that's fantastic news. Plus, he's really enjoying the work, and is going on a ride along with an ambulance soon. So he can experience all parts of the service I guess.
Corey breaks up for the Easter holidays today. With him off school for two weeks and James at home during the day, I predict fun times the next two weeks. And now Corey has broken up as it's hours after I started this. I forgot that our car was booked into the garage this morning, so we had to go out and do that. Then met the in laws in Starbucks for the first mango iced drink of the year. Now I've had tea, had a bath, and am about to go have some online time. It feels good to be able to actually use LJ again, as until yesterday I hadn't been able to comment or reply to comments at all for days, the site just kept on trying to load and timing out. With all the tabs I have the top of my monitor looked like one of those optical illusions, most tabs coming complete with a spinning circle.
I did see that [Bad username or unknown identity: crowgirl13 site=] had posted another My Little My Chem, though technically, as it's Korse that label doesn't really fit. Whatever you label him as though, he's awesome, and T amazing for doing them ♥
BBB writing is happening, slower than I'd like and I have plot holes to ponder, but words are happening so I'm not losing hope yet. Of course, that means actually writing some words for today, because as of now I haven't, and have had a scene left mid point for a while.
I really like My Chem reworking of Sing for Sing It For Japan and for all the non bandom people on my flist, it's worth a watch/listen.
To end, I love this picture.

Date: 2011-04-14 07:27 pm (UTC)That's great news about James. Tell him congratulations from me!
Having both your boys at home for two weeks sound extremely exhausting I have to say. I hope the weather will be nice so you can escape outdoors when they get too much for you :-)
T's Korse pony was so FABULOUS!! I LOVED his evil smirk!
Good luck with the writing.
I haven't watched Sing It For Japan yet. Hopefully I'll be in the mood for it tomorrow.
That's a great photo!

Date: 2011-04-14 07:41 pm (UTC)I will do :D
It is exhausting, especially as they end up bickering so often. Over such stupid things too.
His evil smirk was the best! I was so impressed with how she got his expression down.
Thank you, and I really do love the re working of the song.
I love how it captures them so well. All we need is Frank to be writhing on the floor and it would be perfect.

Date: 2011-04-14 10:47 pm (UTC)I know what you mean about lj. I was a little surprised at how many of the windows I have open on a general basis are all lj and showed up blank. That wasn't always the case. But when I couldn't access it the last week, I felt a bit of withdrawal :-P
I really like the version of sing. Re-listening just now. So nice!
♥ for the picture.

Date: 2011-04-15 02:15 pm (UTC)I got stupidly twitchy being unable to access LJ. I do crosspost at DW and read my circle there, but the vast majority of my friends are over here, and I couldn't talk to them, or comment to fic. I was a sad puppy.
The reworking of Sing is gorgeous. I like it a lot.
