James has gone to see The Two Towers, nothing special about that, except he's taken my sister and her friend and not me. He asked if I minded, see I have to look after Corey, especially as I'm going away tomorrow and Corey will be at my mam's 'till Mon. It's not like I can ask her to babysit tonight also. So he did ask, but what was I supposed to say? All three were standing there, desperate to go, as am I, but someone has to stay home...sigh.

I've also started a minor panic ( just a minor one mind you as I'm still on the computer and not doing anything) that we are going away tomorrow and *nothing* is ready. The tickets haven't arrived, James has e-mailed and phoned Creation in the US and they say just pick them up at the con...HA!! like it'll be that easy, I don't think so. Most of our clothes still need washing and drying, and I have no idea what to take anyway. I'm okay with the actual con bit, but on the night we have tickets to a cocktail party. What the hell are you supposed to wear there???

I'm getting a bit annoyed at this con really. We paid *mega* money for gold tickets to go, in their ads Creation promised loads of Trek stars. Okay William Shatner is going, I suppose he's the main guy of Trek, but see, I'm a Voyager fan ( yes there are some out there!) In all there's 5 big names going, a lot less than I expected.

What really annoys me is that as much as a Trekker that I am, it's still not my main fandom. That's Mutant X and The Sentinel, and will there ever be a con with people from those shows in the UK? Doubt it. Last year one of my online friends said if I got to America she'd pay for me to go to a slash con and a hotel room to stay with her in. This was after I'd paid for my Trek tickets btw, and it would have been cheaper to fly to the US than drive to London and stay there for a Creation thing.

Wow this is turning into an anti Creation post Well I was warned about them so I can't complain now I suppose.
