turpsI was at the library this morning and on the way home stopped to talk to my neighbours, who asked if I was still writing my poetry and if I'd enjoyed my trip to America.
At which point I was stuck in yet another, the fuck?! moment. Because really, poetry, trips to America, when is this madness going to end?
I'm still waiting to see the first pictures of my boys in France. They've changed the set up this year so they're using a blog, which is entertaining enough -- I especially liked the post from one scout who announced he'd jumped into a river from a pipe but was still alive, which, I'm sure his parents were thrilled about that -- but I miss seeing the uploaded pictures.
And just like that I moan and the link to the pictures is there when I refresh. Though of course my kid isn't in any of them.
I'm jumping between three stories right now, two of which are possibilities for wave two of BBB. Thankfully they're all very different kinds of stories, so working on them all isn't an issue.
I'm also having my annual, should I sign for kink_bingo or not ponder. I know I won't in the end, but each year I tell myself that maybe this is the year when I'll effortlessly write many stories of hotness. Then I laugh at myself and write someone getting stabbed or knocked over instead.
I was checking my flist yesterday and was thrilled to see thatteigh_corvus had written me a ficlet. A very delicious, lovely, achy ficlet that's part of her Werewolves in Killjoys land verse. It's past Bob/Mikey and is just gorgeous Oasis. And for those who didn't see my edit yesterday, sperrywink came through with her side of the bathing vampire bargain and wrote sort of waycest with a side of Mikey/Pete, right here. Which is also awesome, and open ended in that it could easily go in a Mikey/Pete/Gerard direction.
But you know what I'm in the mood for right now? Prompted by a re-watch of this ridiculous clip, bb!Mikey with his birds nest hair and tiny t-shirts, and the party in the back of the trailer actually being a very cramped and faily group sex session.

Well one is my well overdue help pakistan story, and the other two are Mikey and Ryan centric where they run a pet boutique, and a canon based Mikey/Frank. So you're out of luck for them all.
Yeah, I know I never will join, but I like to think about it. I do like the kinks, even if writing them would kill me off.

Yeah, I've been on that same "maybe I should do KB this year? (thinks long and hard about it) Nah, I won't do it. However, I will TOTES enjoy some/most of the entries! :D!" back and forth thing. Especially as I've seen a lot of VERY HAPPY posts regarding the KB cards people have been getting.
That said, after waffling for a loooooooong time, I *did* sign up for Wave Two of the BBB. I'm both excited \o/ and slightly terrified /o\. But I keep thinking that it'll end up being kickass in its own sparkly way? (why, yes, I'm a hopeless optimist. *g*)

But yeah, I love the buzz when new cards come out.
It will be awesome! And you'll write a story you'll love and no doubt get a great mix. Have you got any ideas what you want to write yet?

Corey's group is up the mountain hut today, so hopefully there will be pictures later. No doubt of him hanging off the side of a cliff again.
BB!Mikey is the best! I was watching old performance videos from the same festival and he's changed so much in terms of his stage presence. So many hearts for him.
They kissed, that's more than I ever thought you'd write. Then in my head they did more, so it was a win win \o/

I approve of cramped, sweaty and faily gsf with that second line-up! [From the photo I'd say that Gerard's being excited by the thought too. ;D] There are a lot of buttons to undo there, cuffs to be stubborn and FRANK'S RIDIC TIE. I bet the knot locks up when it gets too damp.

Well if you're done with the first I say go for it. As long as you don't overload yourself anyway. Sometimes all you can do is drop out of things, but if you have ideas for something else, again. Go for it!

I finished my wave 2 fic in march when I was having trouble with my wave 1 fic. If anything it's just a shiny idea. And I always have shiny ideas(too many ideas at that).
