turpsCorey and James came home yesterday. Then and their 6 loads of dirty laundry. But, it was lovely to see them, I miss them when they're gone.
They're still in bed but we'll be going off to see the relatives soon. Then groceries and the garden centre for more compost because the poor courgettes really need to be repotted asap.
I watched Toy Story 3 last night and the end made me tear up. Also the baby doll was damn creepy.
I've also been watching Battlestar Gallactica. They show two episodes a week on the Atlantic channel and to be honest, it wasn't really grabbing me until recently. I would have given up on it but seemed to vaguely remember someone saying it got better in the second season, and yeah, they were right.
BBB starts posting tomorrow \o/ So much new fic and art to look at, and then maybe I'll be distracted from going around and shoving the lyrics of Smash at everyone and going, look. Mikey and Pete happened. I'm a ridiculous tin hat, I know this. I also hope that Mikey sends Pete a birthday wish today, that would make me very happy. And even if he doesn't send one in public I'll be imagining him sending one in private. Or else using his off time to go see him in person. Yes.
Which is. Happy birthday Pete. You were my gateway to bandom, and if nothing else, I'll always love you for that ♥
ETA: I came back online and there is Pete/Mikey gardening awesomeness going on in the comments at LJ. Shinetheway is the best ever \o/
