turpsIn the last week I've been to see the new X Men, which I enjoyed a lot.
Been out every day with James as he's on 4-midnight shift, which means between waiting for him to get home and waking up at 6 I'm really looking forward to having a sleep in tomorrow.
Finally installed Firefox 4, and am still getting used to everything being moved around and the loss of some add ons. At least I found out how to go back a few pages at once. At one point I was seconds away from making a frantic post asking how the hell to do that in FF4 when I thought about right clicking the arrow. Which is on the same personal stupidity level as the fact I only recently realised echofon has a built in thing to shorten URLs. This is after months of me going to tiny url and doing it myself then copy/pasting.

Apologies to the people who've seen this when I linked on twitter already, but really, such cute gamer nerds as they check out the new Batman game.
I need more Mikey/Ray fic. When I was sorting out my masterlist I realised I had none, gsf sure, but nothing that was just them. I really need to remedy that.
When he was younger Corey had a tickle me Elmo doll. The resemblance to Gerard here is uncanny, with the sticky up hair and beady black eyes.
An old one, but one that delights me anyway. I do love Bob/Mikey a lot, and Mikey seems very long suffering here.

It's been tidied up and extended from the one I linked to in comments at my journal, and really, it's all kinds of lovely. I know everyone is snowed under with BBBs, but this is short and so worth it. Trust me.
ETA2. Panic are doing their top 50 videos on MTV rocks just now, and they just said My Chem are the hottest band to come out of New Jersey. Yes. Yes they are. Also *___*

I was surprised that I had no dedicated Mikey/Ray. Seeing those pictures made me imagine an AU where they work in game design. Something I know nothing about but I just like the idea of them arguing over graphics and going into the office together, then at night heading home to play more games.
It would be fluffy and fun :D

Date: 2011-06-18 06:03 pm (UTC)I think they'd make for a good fluffy fic. They'd have an apartment filled with every game console going, even the old obsolete ones, and Ray would buy every new gadget on the market, and have a blog where he tests everything out and gives thumbs up out of five.
Then when he's writing his blog Mikey's curled on the couch with his laptop, watching DVds while on AIM with his friends and he'd IM Ray even though he's only feet away.
In the mornings Ray would make coffee, handing over a mug as soon as Mikey gets out of bed, and then he'd make toast as Mikey showers and give him a slice as they head out of the door, late as usual.

And, awww to Bob/Mikeyway. I like that pairing a lot. To me, it's a lot about how opposite they look but really aren't. They're both kinda quiet but intense.

Yes! I get that about Bob/Mikey too. On a very shallow level I love the size difference because it hits my kinks, but under that they're very similar in many ways. Also, really seemed to enjoy each others company.

FF4 is good, but it's frustrating getting things back to the way that you like them. I still keep going for adds ons I used a lot and they're just not there. At least I've managed to get the refresh button back in the right place.

That pushes my buttons so hard, everything about size tbh. I know it's a fine line that can go into badfic territory where Mikey's made to be some frail, fragile flower against Ray, but if it's done well it works wonderfully. Ray's hands around Mikey's wrists, holding him down, or in place with his body weight, both of them knowing if he wanted Mikey could break free. And of course, the sex.

I know I should feel bad for saying so, but I'm glad other people had issues too, so it's not just me being an idiot.
They really do, and Gerard looks cute too, even though I see Elmo every time I look at him. As for Mikey's pants, he must peel them off at night.
They do have great taste. I love that Panic remain My Chem fans.
