30 Days of Fanfic Day 4

It's a gorgeous day today, the hottest of the year so far, bright sunshine with a nice breeze, just perfect for drying the washing.
It's the kind of day meant for going to the beach, but sadly our plans are to clean out the shed ready for maybe getting it knocked down soon. If I don't post/comment/tweet in the next few days assume I'm trapped under boxes and old furniture and send help.
This morning I've been reading my flists, BBBs and also looking at the pictures of My Chem's
My thought process go like this. Look at Ray's hair! Look at Ray's hand on Mikey's shoulder! Look at how they have matching body language and position! What the hell has Mikey got on his feet?
Mikey has tri-coloured hair. He obviously needs to become part of the colour coded elf porn world and meet up with Merry, Frost etc.
You may think I have this here due to Mikey's legs, you'd be wrong. It's due to that fan. Look at their face, their clenched hands as they have a moment with Mikey. It's adorable.
That shirt is getting lower and lower, one day we'll get a nip slip, yes we will.
I love how Frank pays total attention to who he's talking to.
Actually, I dreamed about Frank last night. But he was sitting on the top of a pole and people were pelting him with ice cream. Which really, the hell?
I'm amused at this one due to the different ways the group is arranged. Can Mikey actually kneel in those pants? I think he needs to demonstrate doing so, or do a back bend. Yes.

4 – Do you have a "muse" character, that speaks to you more than others, or that tries to push their way in, even when the fic isn't about them? Who are they, and why did that character became your muse?
Well, I don't consider myself to have a muse. I love reading about other peoples but I just don't. All I do is write, there's no special thing or person telling me to do so.
I don't know, I'm not sure how to answer, because if you're talking about people pushing their way into my stories I could answer Bob. That guy has pushed his way into so many, often when he wasn't supposed to be there at all. But in terms of sheer volume, Mikey's been in nearly every bandom story I've written, mostly in a central role. Even in the few stories I've written with non-Mikey pairings he's there, because I simply can't conceive of a world where he's not vitally important to Gerard, so will be around.
Like in A Bunk and Cramped Sleeping, that's Frank/Gerard, and is actually focussed on them for the majority of the time, but I remember writing it and got to a scene and suddenly Mikey and Pete wanted to be written, so I did, giving them a bit face time.
So, no muses, but a lot of Mikey. I guess that sums it up.
1 – How did you first get into writing fanfic, and what was the first fandom you wrote for? What do you think it was about that fandom that pulled you in?

15 – Warnings – What do you feel it most important to warn for, and what's the strangest thing you've warned for in a fic?
16 – Summaries – Do you like them or hate them? How do you come up with them, if you use them?
17 – Titles – Are they the bane of your existence, or the easiest part of the fic? Also, if you do chaptered fic, do you give each chapter a title, or not?
18 – Where do you get the most inspiration for your fics (aka "bunnies") from?
19 – When you have bunnies, do you sit down and start writing right away, or do you write down the idea for further use?
20 –Do you ever get bunnied from other people's stories or art in the same fandom?
21 – Sequels – Have you ever written a sequel to a fic you wrote, and if so, why, and if not, how do you feel about sequels?
22 – Have you ever participated in a fest or a Big Bang? If so, write about your favorite experience in relation to one. If not, are there any you've thought about doing? And if not, why not?
23 – When you post, where do you post to? Just your journal? Just an archive? Your own personal site?
24 – Betaing – How many betas do you like to use to make sure there aren't any major flaws in your fic? Do you have a Beta horror story or dream story?
25 – Music – Do you listen to music while you write? Do you make playlists to get into a certain "mood" to write your fic? Do you need noise in general? Or do you need it completely quiet?
26 – What is the oddest (or funnest) thing you've had to research for a fic?
27 – Where is your favorite place to write, and do you write by hand or on the computer?
28 – Have you ever collaborated with anyone else, whether writing together, or having an artist work on a piece about your fic?
29 – What is your current project or projects?
30 – Do you have a favorite fic you've written? What makes it your favorite? And don't forget to give us a link!

Ray's hair is just weird. You're right, it's not bad but I'm not used to seeing him like that. As for Mikey and his jeans. Sewing seems like it might have to happen.

It was ice cream you get from an ice cream van, so they were slinging the tops from cones. Why I'm not sure.
You know, I've been thinking and I don't think I have. The only things that have had no Mikey at all have been short ficlets, otherwise he muscles his way in one way or another.
