turpsI got my sleep-in this morning. However, that was cancelled out by the fact I didn't actually go to bed until after 3am. I'm the lamest at times.
Right now I'm sitting waiting for the live feed to start for My Chem's show. It's ridiculous how much I'm looking forward to it, I even installed i Tunes just so I could watch. So it'll be me, the cats, a mug of coffee and no doubt squeeing on twitter. A fine way to spend time I think.
Kissing is still going on and I figured I should link to my own efforts which are Bob/Mikey killjoys double dog dare where Bob and Mikey jump a tar pool and may or may not be in pink jeep verse High school sweethearts -- Brendon/Spencer where I show I'm incapable of writing Spencer without at least mentioning Ryan, and Welcome Home -- Gerard/Lindsey which is my 'did I really write that?' contribution.
Sweet Little Dudes! What with his gardening picture and now this Pete has been delighting me lately.
Day 17 of the 30 Days of Fanfic meme.
Titles – Are they the bane of your existence, or the easiest part of the fic? Also, if you do chaptered fic, do you give each chapter a title, or not?
Bane of my existence. I usually cheat and use song lyrics or lines from poems. Every story I post I end up Googling frantically, and then end up using my working titles anyway in my own head. Yes, Bob in Spaaaaaace! Pink Jeep Verse and Shelter fic, I'm talking about you.

Date: 2011-07-09 09:47 pm (UTC)See, I agree that most people do use lyrics and poems but I've seen a lot of people rubbish that and say if you can write a story you can write your own title. But it's just not that easy.
That's still my favourite title.

Date: 2011-07-10 11:22 am (UTC)I love Bob in Spaaaace, and still wish I'd left it as the actual title. But that's so interesting that you can't start writing until you have a title. You're the only one I've seen having to do that. I'd imagine it would make organisation much easier.
