augustuscaesar for lunch and some hang time yesterday. She's one of my oldest LJ friends and despite living in Australia, I've now seen her three times, which I think is awesome. Also awesome is the fact that because it was the third meet up I wasn't nervous about it, because I already knew Tara was lovely, and gives the best hugs.
We mooched around the glass museum a bit and then drove along the coast -- a word to the wise, if you end up at mine for any reason you will end up at the beach, ask anyone who's stayed previously. Plodging in the sea is an optional extra though. Then had lunch at a beach front restaurant that had good food and an amazing ginger cat that bewitched us all. We thought it belonged to the restaurant but when James asked its name he was told it's just a cat that wanders in daily and stays. And no wonder, she had a prime sunny spot on a stool in front of the window overlooking the ocean.
Sadly we had other things to do in the afternoon so I didn't get as much time together as I wanted, but I know Tara will be back, and when she does I'll be waiting ♥
One of those things was taking Corey to a concert, though in the end he got a lift with someone else as James may not have been back in time to drive him. I had to laugh because at first Corey said he was going with a bunch of his friends, then it became he was seeing some of the girls from school there, and in the end was he was going with one girl only. But he had fun so it all worked out in the end.

hc_bigbang, but between it saying that any stories would be uploaded onto a website under the mods control and revealed by the mods themselves and that there's no other bandom people there I'm giving it a pass. I did read in comments you could opt out of the website thing but even so, passing for sure. I did start thinking about something ridiculously indulgent though, so I may do that myself.
Of course that means writing at all. I haven't written a word in ages now. At some point I need to try and change that.
Finally, in my never ending quest for gsf I'd like to bring your attention to
Look at how they're they're all touching, how sweaty they all are. How obviously they're ready to go off and have hot group sex.

Well I don't know if I'll ever write the thing but I was thinking about expanding a pirate AU I'd talked about in one of those what would you write memes. In it Mikey has been kidnapped and thrown in a cage that's suspended over the side of the bad pirates ship. He's in there with Brendon, who Mikey doesn't actually know, just they had the misfortune of being kidnapped by the same crew.
Meanwhile Ryan is being used by the evil captain, he refuses to have sex with him at first until the cage is lowered almost into the water and he has to watch Brendon nearly drown with each hitting wave.
It would be stupidly angsty, and everything I love in fic.
Mikey/Bob. One of my favourite pairings. I especially like that they'd like and respect each other, and that Bob could manhandle Mikey easily.
