I'm going to give my weekend the productive thumbs up. Laundry is done, ironed and about to be put away. Gross bandom at beta and in box cut down from over 500 to under 200. Which is still horrible I know but much better than it was.

I've just been discussing this on twitter but I loved Thomas Gibson tweeting about meeting MCR, and the fact he tweeted them all thanks personally after, and then shared a picture of Gerard's feet. saxihighlandck reminded me Victoria is a good friend of MGG's, so really, yet again there is only one fandom. It also means that I now really want a picture of Mikey, Victoria and Matthew together, that would be amazing.

Also amazing? this. The gloves give me shivers. Also, neck, eyes, everything!

I'm also considering how many words I want to sign up for at mini_nanowrimo. I really enjoyed the comm last year but don't want to put down too many in case I'm setting myself up to fail, but at the same time, if I take the easy way out with say 100, that's no kind of challenge at all.

Tomorrow we're driving mam down for a specialist scan at a hospital in Middlesbrough. James finishes work at 7 and mam's appointment is at 9 so it's going to be a rush to get there in time, but we can't make the better of it. Hopefully it'll give actual answers about the tumour she has, so the three hour wait while she gets the thing done and the drive there and back has to be worth it.

But now shower, hot chocolate and then maybe some reading.

Wow, productive weekend was productive! \o/

In all truth, I'd considered Mini Nano, but, at the same time, I think it'd add too much pressure at a moment when I'm going to be busy anyways. My shame about failing the Bandom Nano that (I think) Pikasafire ran about a month ago? Let me show it to you. /o\

I failed the bandom nano big time. I got off to an okay start but then life exploded and I didn't write a thing for weeks. So no shame, sometimes these things just happen.

I'm giving the week-end the on-line thumbs up... which is actually were my big slack's been so that's an accomplishment. I have a mountain of clean laundry to fold... after the coffeehouse closes. I'm working on a to-do list too, which has to count somehow.

I signed up for 700 words, in the hopes that this means I'll get back in the swing of 750 Words.

Spencer, Spencer so cute! I love the stories (I think they're Arsenic's - can't check my Delicious to make sure!) where he's a cousin of Ryan's.

I think you definitely get your adulthood trophy this weekend. I've cleaned the kitchen, bathroom, vacuumed and done the washing, but other than that have done NOTHING, and very nice it's been too.

Hope the scan goes okay. Is it one of the ones she's got to fast for beforehand, or drink the litre of liquid?

Well, Thomas only went to the concert two nights ago, so unless you follow him on twitter there was no reason you would know.

But yeah, Vicky-T, she's known MGG for a while and they've been out together often, doing things like movie trips and walking home in the smog. I don't think there's anything between them, just good friends.

saint_sorrows and I were trying the other day to figure out who he was! I feel so bad, because the name was really familiar, and I was like, "...Maybe it's the guy who makes the guitars? :/" I just. He's Hotch. Even if I see a Dharma and Greg episode for whatever reason (oh darling, no), I'm always thinking, "Why is Hotch acting like a doofus?" *sigh* ANY OTHER NAME, I would have got it.

It's really hard to match names with celeb faces sometimes, I find that goes especially for actors in TV shows. I mostly know his name through following on twitter, otherwise I'd have been lost too.

I did, thank you! Another ridiculous thing: I bought it in Smiths, so glad they still had some. Next day, Dad comes home with one for me. Now I have two! O.o

(Except for the fact that with spiders, I'm completely terrified and I can feel it. With mould etc, I'm just. Grossed out. Really, the only similarity is the strength of my reaction, and the complere inability I have to control said reactions.)
