turpsFirst things first. I want to rec the past ain't through with you by akamine_chan from the jerk off meme. It's Mikey/Pete, Mikey/Gerard, from the prompt, Drunk accidental phone sex. It's all kinds of awesome.

The meter reader has just knocked on the door and about took a year off my life. Really, is there any need to knock that hard? I think not.
The decorating has moved onto our bedroom now. At the moment it's a mess of half-stripped walls and bare floor boards with the curtains tucked up and everything in chaos. Then last night the alarm clock stopped working. It's a Garfield one I've had forever so it's not surprising that it gave up the ghost, but still, that didn't help last night when we were trying to find an alarm clock that actually worked. In the end Corey produced a travel size version, this weird thing that lights up different colours depending which way you hold it up. It's not something that'll work in the long term though as it's got no back light, which is why I woke up, and when I eventually worked out how to get the light on, was horrified to see it was only 4am.
It's the start of mini nano today, and checking the list I was surprised to see I'd pledged 300 words and not the 200 I'd been imagining. I keep telling myself 300 words is nothing, three drabbles only, but it seems a lot when you haven't been writing much. Still, I've been working on my horrible overdue charity fic lately, over 10k and they're actually doing something finally, which is a relief.
I'll be working on that, and my bandomstuffsit story and maybe get the killjoys h/c embers verse ficlet done. Which, big plans for how ploddingly slow I've been lately.

And no, for anyone who's laughing right now, the diner doesn't get hit by a meteor or the strip mall get blown up.
Totally stealing this from eledwenlin, but entertain me before I head back into decorating hell. Tell me about the stories you're writing or the ones you would write if you could, be that if you don't write at all or that they're beyond you right now.
For me that would be the prequel to Sound Tracking, which when I do write it will take a lot of work and careful writing, both to get back into the feel of that universe and to tell the story that's there to be told.

It's mostly about the Waybros just being really close, and it started out as a shortish fluffpiece, and now my muse wants to add in all the angst surrounding Gerard's addictions and Mikey's bipolar disorder... mostly I'm just quailing at the sheer number of words I'm going to have to write if I want to finish this... *g*

Our bedroom is a mess at the moment with no carpet and wallpaper in the process of being scraped. With James being on nights I haven't been able to work on it for a while but should be back on the job tomorrow.
I'm hoping for a before Christmas finish but that may be optimistic.

Frank/Mikey/Gerard is one of my favourites. They work so well together, and I'd read so many stories featuring them coming together. Or Frank realising the Ways are together and being hesitant when he realises, because incest and yet he can't keep watching and drawing closer.

Ahh, fics. *looks at the writing to-do list she is woefully behind on and cries* Currently, I'm writing the werewolf part of the Hallowe'en poll, which I pretty much suspect is going to be all porn. But then I also have my next Killjoys installment (that I've been trying to get done since, like, February, but at least there's words now), some crossdressing porn, and a MikeyandGerard Killjoys ficlet thing, all to finish before next week. Because those were on the October list and obviously never got done, but I'm giving myself some leeway with that as I was practically never home all weekend, Friday morning to Sunday night.
BUT THEN. Then I have November's list, which is so far thankfully short and includes a Motorbaby ficlet, a Mikey/Alicia Killjoys ficlet, a Gerard/Korse ficlet, and brbb. /o\/o\/o\ (And if I could ever write it - because the style it would have to be written in, Idk, I don't think I'm clever enough for it - I'd add the Pete/Gabe Killjoys mini epic that sort of precedes the Motorbaby one.)
