All this week I've intended to post hat pictures on my days at![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-community.gif)
mikeyway_daily This hasn't actually happened, mostly because I got distracted by arms and neck and dark, flippy hair.
However, I have been thinking about his hats, because various theories about them have been put forward, most stating they're hand knitted. Obviously this means there needs to be a bandom stitch and bitch fic. It could be AU or not, it wouldn't matter. I just want to see Mikey knitting his awesome, ugly hats and Ray knitting himself a jumper and maybe Gerard thinking outside of the box by trying to make himself a boa out of pom poms.
Of course other bandom people would join in too. I'm sure Ryan would make excellent scarves and Spencer would create something intricate made of cashmere. Also, epic battles with knitting needles would happen and sleeping on huge bags full of wool.
Mini nano is still trundling on. Sometimes I get well over my goal amount of words, sometimes I barely scrape it. Like last night, when after a significant period of time in front of the file I checked and had all of 70 odd words. Still, I like what I have though I may be hitting up some of the usual suspects soon to see if it actually makes sense.
Tomorrow we were going to get more Christmas shopping, but earlier mam got a call from the Macmillan nurse saying that she needs to go see the consultant tomorrow because the biopsy she had last week still isn't telling them what they need to know. So, more hospitals tomorrow instead. Though she's adamant she won't let them admit her because she'd miss the Big Brother final.

Date: 2011-11-10 06:43 pm (UTC)I loved the idea that Pete was knitting Mikey the ugly, awesome hats, but then it was suggested that he could also be knitting them himself, and my heart exploded with love.
Just as it did when I imagined Brendon crocheting cute animals. Once he got the hang of them he could make one really fast, and starts leaving them everywhere. On Spencer's kit, attached to mic stands, on people's pillows when they wake in the morning :D
It's a fabulous suggestion.

Thank you. I'm hoping she gets to come home tomorrow just so she can see the final as she really loves the show. I suspect she'll be admitted soon though, they said last time if the biopsy didn't give answers surgery was next.
Your icon reminded me. Mikey needs to have a spirit hood in his collection. If Pete and Gerard have them I'm sure Mikey does too.
