I'm meeting augustuscaesar tomorrow.

She's touring the UK at the moment and while she's been on my friendslist for years -- like, from the beginning of my popslash time -- I'm so ridiculously nervous. I swear it's a miracle I meet anyone I get so worked up. We could have nothing to say or I could end up just staring at her like a creepster and I know, things will be fine. They always are. But just once I'd like to meet people without a colony of butterflies taking up residence in my stomach.

In other news, there is none really. Corey's off for the Easter holidays so we're being very lazy. I've decided to drop out from BBB because no way would I get a first draft done in time. Well, I suppose I could but the quality would be debatable, especially as I'll be getting ready to post the shelter fic next week. Which actually has a real title now \o/ The Pete/Mikey/Frank fic I'm writing with sperrywink is close to the end too. It's my turn but I keep getting distracted by the hot sex scene.

It's been so cool writing with Kimberly. I've never co-written before and we seem to have fallen in to something really comfortable, maybe because there's no pressure, or to be honest, plan at first. We just started with an idea we both liked, started talking about it and adding what we thought until now we have something over 11k. I suppose it helps our writing styles mesh easily and we like the same things. It's a fun story, and sometimes I read and think, we did this. A Summer of Like story that doesn't end badly. Well, not unless one heck of a plot twist is thrown in.

As for the shelter fic. I love how that turned out too. I have no idea how it'll go across but that doesn't matter, because it was always meant for a specific person and as long as she likes it that's all that matters.

Talking of sperrwink mikeyway_daily is coming along nicely, too. We have plans for a big old spam if we hit 100 watchers. Of course it helps that Mikey is so entertaining in twitter and the blogs. I read the one last night and had to immediately email various people or else I'd have posted on here doing nothing but ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Camp Sparkle is coming up fast, which is good because I love Camp Sparkle. Even if the butterflies do come back big time. Silver spacebulls with red eyes! Lamp story! Glee!

I left work early. I'd had enough of this week and a headache was looming (I took medicine and feel better now, though).

I hate meeting people you only know online. Will they like you? Will you have the same connection offline as online? It's so hard!

The co-writing has been amazingly fun and low-pressure. I'm still surprised by how well our writing styles meshed. Sometimes I can't remember who wrote what, if I'm looking at the Word document. And how unique are we, writing SoL that doesn't end badly? *g*

That's it exactly. I'm always surprised when anyone likes me when I meet them because I'm always so awkward. One on one is even worse because I've nowhere to hide.

I've loved the co-writing so much, and I'm looking forward to polishing the story up. Once it's done of course, we need that money shot. And yes, happy endings for all!

Meeting people you only know online for the first time is terrible! And it's so much worse to do it all alone like that, in a group you can always hope that no one will notice if you don't have anything to say or when you need to get away for a while to be alone with yourself. I forgot the most important part: Good luck tomorrow! I'm keeping my fingers crossed you'll have an awesome time together without any stupid awkwardness.

That's too sad about you pulling out of BBB! I was looking forward to a My Chem-only story from you. It's great that co-writing with Kimberly is working so well though, and that the shelterfic is almost post ready! You're certainly being productive enough even without BBB.

Well, I have plenty of My Chem only stories on the go. I've the start of two plus the prequel to the shelter fic is totally MCR centric apart from Pete. Not that I've actually started that but all the details are in my head just waiting to be written.

I wish the shelter fic was more your thing. I'll have to note the MCR scenes for you *g*

I was SO NERVOUS about meeting deliaepigram when she came to NZ! it was a bizarre feeling, seeing as we'd been friends for two years and there was pretty much nothing so personal that I wouldn't tell her.

And then you meet them, and they are all strange and unfamiliar, but you start talking and you recognise their brain! The things they say, the things you talk about. And before you know it it's just like online but in 3D!

I've never really co-written something and I always think it must be a nice experience... except you'd have to be sure to find the right person to do so because otherwise it could become such a burden. Happy to hear you're having fun with your fic.

Co writing has been fun but you're right, you have to have the right person. I'm really lucky because Sperrywink pretty much likes the same things/people/pairings I do and our styles are similar.

I imagine if I was co writing with someone who loved Gerard/Frank it wouldn't be so easy.

It's a Summer of Like story filled with sex at the moment. Also finger fucking. Yes. I get the shivers thinking of that.
