Tom and Jon's situation is something I plan to address in the future. They've got loose ends that need tying up but there wasn't really space to do so in this first story, not without making it much longer anyway.

They deserve their time in the spot light, and also to get their own safety, which sure, Jon has, but not completely while his best friend is still out there.

I love when people engage in a story enough they think of what happens after :)
