French people on my flist, can you tell me what the word for disabled is?

I'm sure you'll all be happy to know my groceries have just arrived. The animals won't starve after all, and I could change the litter box at last. Of course the delivery man commented on how the house wasn't next to a road, and yes, we go through this every time. This is why I get a delivery when there's a lot of heavy stuff.

James has been phoning me often from France. Apparently it's 30 degrees over there so they're all baking. He's not in Corey's group so Corey's climbing to the mountain hut today while James is hanging out in town. He sounds so happy, which is awesome, and promised to send pictures later.

I had a good writing day yesterday. I finally finished my part of the Mikey/Frank/Pete threesome I'm writing with sperrywink and also spent some very enjoyable hours writing clichéd car crash mcr fic. I enjoyed myself so much, you don't even know. The story is so indulgent, has very little actual content and hits every cliché going, but each word was fun. And you know, those kinds of stories are great to write. It won't get recced, hell, if it's read I'll be surprised but car crash off a mountain!

I also spent a lot of time looking at the picture Mikey posted. His little smile.

It's a gorgeous sunny day today. I have the window open next to me, a chilled bottle of strawberryade and have done everything that needs to be done. So I'm going to write more and catch up on some reading.

We are. It's weird, when he calls it's like he's at work or something not in another country.

Your day sounds remarkably like mine except I have Iced Tea and I plan on watching some Criminal Minds instead of reading. Still, a great day.

I was very happy to get groceries, happier to get cat litter, though.

The little car crash story is made of ridiculous and I love it. I'm just about to add the hospital scene, with flowers! *g*

I've never tried iced tea, but Criminal Minds watching is a great thing. I still need to watch the season ender. You may have just swayed my plans.

Wow! Never tried iced tea! How bizarre! I drink fake iced tea that is really just tan-colored sugar water. *g*

I'm like 10 episodes behind in CM, so no season finale for me yet. I was actually going to watch *last* season's finale and this season's opener as research for my CM big bang. Then I'll work my way through the season from there.

I'm trying to get another 2,000 words on the narc!AU, and I have, hmmm, only 1,500 words so far. But Mikey is now in college! I'm very excited about this.

The kitties were very excited when they saw the slab of cat food appear. I'm sure they can recognize the tins.

James just emailed me and said it's really hot over there. There's plans to go swimming in a lake, which sounds nice. But I'm glad I'm here where it's just warm.
