Happy birthday babycakesin! I hope it's a fabulous day for you ♥

It's been a busy few days. It was the MiLs 60th birthday which meant one day trying to find her a gift, which was hard to do. Then on a different day a gathering at her house, plus other stuff that's kept me working away.

I was very happy with Friday's Big Brother eviction. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that Lisa is nominated this week because she's seriously doing my head in.

Other stuff. Mikey keeps mentioning Reading and Leeds. I'm dubious if MCR would be announced as playing this late, but apparently there are gaps in the program so who knows? If they don't I just chose to believe he's coming over to watch Pete FOB play.

Jon posted this picture, and I haven't been able to tab away. How so gorgeous, Jon?

A Bob/Gerard notfic sprang to life in my journal a few posts back. I've been peering at my cliche_bingo card and think I could make it fit as the secrets and lies prompt. Unfortunately that square isn't on a line that's calling to me. I suspect I'll give it a go, it'll be a change from what I've been writing lately. Though what I should do is get back to my rpf_big_bang story, because eeep at the approaching deadline. I don't know if I ever said on here but I'm writing the final story in the Tints verse for that. It's lovely to be back playing in that universe but it does get heavy going at times.

There you go, a very short catch up. I'm sure you'll all sleep better in your beds tonight.

Thanks for linking to Jon's picture. It wasn't there when I tried to look at it yesterday, so I'm glad to finally see it. He is adorable, but still looks sad to me. (projecting, I know, but I can't help it!)

You and me both have to get cracking on our rpf_big_bangs! I haven't looked at the narc!AU in nearly a month. So not good.

You'll love working on the Bob/Gerard story once you get into it again, though, I'm sure of it. They're lovely characters to fall back into.

It's not good at all. We're such slackers. I looked at the deadline this morning and was taken aback. That's crept up so fast.

I love that picture of Jon Walker so much. He really is lovely. (But I agree w/ the observation that he still looks a little sad. Maybe he was just concentrating on the tricky process of taking a picture of himself, though, so it's not sadness?)

(I know what you mean about the deadline approaching, though. I just abandoned my first idea for it and have started an entirely new story. But I was completely stuck on the first story and had only managed ~2000 words in the last month; whereas I wrote just shy of 4000 words on the new story yesterday. So. This is a good thing, I think.

It went better than I expected. It helped that the FiL came late, not because he's the loudest, just the less of them there the less talking there is. So I got a seat and pretty much stayed there until we left.

I hope it is concentration and not sadness. I hate the thought of him being sad. It's why I get annoyed when I see all the crap he gets in his twitpic messages, that a bad time must be being made worse by former so-called fans. But they do seem to be trucking on with their music, so hopefully he's okay.

I meant the Bob/Gerard that sprung up from the 10 words meme, with singing Gee and oblivious Bob. It sounds fun, thought I'd so have to credit you for the end.

I hope they do play here. There's room on the bill at both venues on two nights, so it could happen. Though last time they played they were bottled really badly :(

Just the thought of FOB and MCR on the same bill has me excited!

I must be explaining myself really badly as I meant the story where Gerard was singing and Bob oblivious which sprung up in comments. My bad.
