I've got two scenes left to finish my rpf_big_bang story. For one glorious moment I thought it was one, but had forgotten that right in the middle I have *insert such and such a scene here* You know I've been sitting here wondering if that scene has to be included. Maybe people won't notice that something that's referenced heavily earlier on doesn't actually happen? But sadly I know that's not the case. Bah.

Which means of course that soon I need such things as a title and summary to entice artists to my story. I feel I need to improve on 'well Ray has a gardening firm and there is angst and sadness and laughter and lawn stripes and lots of swearing and food and dragon bird baths and Frank in lady bug jeans and a long h/c scene and did I mention lawn stripes?'

At least I know the title has to be related to rainbows in some way. I think I'll call it 'George, Bungle and Zippy'. Then most people will read and go, the hell? Also, what's weird is posting doesn't actually start until well into October. I'm going to have so much time to edit this. Which I'm sure my betas will be happy about, but I'm not used to sitting on a story for so long.

Then it's on to the bandom_hc story, with maybe a brief stop to write another short ffor cliche_bingo. I'm in a Mikey/Pete place right now, or some Panic maybe. I want to try my hand at Ryan/Jon.

I've found out that hotspot shield means I can use hulu, which is very cool. Tomorrow I plan on watching the episodes of K-Ville I missed before I found it on Sky. Tonight it's the double episode ender of The Mentalist. I'm going to miss that show. Also, did I pick it up right that new Project Runway starts tonight in the US? If so, it's about time!

I had delicious sweet and sour quorn pieces for tea, now I'm very full and quite content after a long shower, sitting with the window open watching the heavy rain.

LOL That was my plan. I ended up entertaining and later on in the evening having a row with my dad. Then passing out on my pullout. *eye roll*

Things with Philadelphia's budget aren't going well. I'll make a post about it very shortly. *sigh*

I would probably notice it, I tend to be obnoxiously observant about things like that ;-) (Like continuity errors, they always seem positively GLARING to me but I've understood that most people don't even notice them.)

Perhaps you can ask one of your betas to describe what they think the story is about, that might help you figure out what to say in the enticing summary.

We're supposed to get that rain tomorrow night I've heard. Today we've had wonderfully sunny but not too hot weather and it's supposed to continue like this until tomorrow afternoon.

I suspect most people would see this continuity error, though I suppose I could hint the thing that needs to happen happenes off-screen *g*

That's a good idea about asking my betas. I'm joking about it here but it does need to be good and I am allowed to use a much longer summary for the artists. I just don't want to be passed over because of a sucky summary.

It's been raining really heavily today, and now it's cool and lovely. It may be the first time in weeks I'll sleep with a blanket.

They're characters from a kids TV show from when I was a kidlet. The show was called Rainbow. See, it fits, in my mind :D

Titles and summaries, argh. Those are tough. Although that summary you gave right there would actually entice me if I was an artist. It sounds pretty awesome! :D

I hate titles and summaries. Mine always end up looking so lame, and then I'll be looking through delicious and see copy-pastes of my summary and cringe.

I'll have to keep that summary as a back-up, and remember to mention the unicorn with a light up horn *g*

You know, I wasn't even sure what quorn was made of, so hit wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quorn). I just use them as a veggie alternative to chicken.

HEEE. I do that too. In SGA fandom, there was someone who would occasionally rec stories I wrote, and her summaries of my stories were always SO much better than mine, so I would end up going 'hey, can I use that?' :P

Rainbow was such a weird show, and is tied so strongly to my childhood. Geoffrey was obviously the Pete of the day with his furry obsession *g*

The lady bug jeans are a thing! Frank likes to decorate his clothes.

I'm looking forward to the challenges so much! Though I still need to finish reading some Bandom Big Bang stories. If only there were more hours in the day.

Titles are so so difficult! I tend to default to just using the first line of the story as a summary which is totally wimping out but at least is always an option. But titles OMG.
