Arsenic has posted Adaptable to Change, her Mikey/Spencer story. I've had the great pleasure of reading along as this story was written, and no lie, I love it beyond reason.

Just, please, read the warnings. It won't be to everyone's taste.

I just saw that she'd posted that. Do you know which the sidepairings are, she only says "sidepairings galore" and I kind of want to know if Gerard has someone or not?

The Gerard relationship is very much a small part of the story, mostly it's a lot of Mikey and Spencer. But it's so good!

Yeah, but she usually writes very good brother interactions (hell, whole band interactions!) but I've got ISSUES with Gerard being left all alone (or ending up with a girl, I get enough of heteronormativity in real life I don't need it in fandom too) I'm not going to read it today though because emcay has posted the sequel to their BBB taxicab AU and it seems to be all Bob/Brian/Gerard!

I just realised, are you aware of that LJ changed stuff some time ago and now the subject of every entry (if there is one *hint**hint ;-) is a link to the entry. (Unless you've an old layout coded from scratch that is, but yours seems to work as it should.) So you don't have just the cut or the reply link.

I didn't know that, or knew and had forgotten.

I link from the reply link usually but the title would work much better, especially as I use the firefox extension that grabs the link and codes it for you.

I wouldn't even have thought of it unless I hadn't just changed things around in my own journal style, adding the subject link (and a (no subject) thingy if there were no subject) so that I could remove the special link I'd added at the bottom of the entry.

You're using CoLT too? I started using that a while ago and it's sooo handy!

Yep, that's what I mean. I installed it when I did the newsletter and it made things so much easier.

I would never be able to come up with subjects if I didn't use song lyrics. These days I always fire up iTunes when it's time to write an entry because actually looking at the songs is the only way I can come up with one that fits.
