My friends list is papered with that picture of Frank and no wonder. It's a picture of joy and wonder.

I'm also going to post a picture of Frank, but not that one. Instead have bendy Frank and hot ass Mikey. A combination of win I feel.




Right, I'm going to go work on the h/c story. 1 island. 7 people. 2 corpses. 1 person unconscious. 1 totally checked out. 2 broken ankles. 9927997927 bloody cuts. 1 torn ear. 3 people snuggling under blankets. 1 person about to drop after not letting on to being injured. 10,000 words written. 5,000 more needed. 4 days to get them done.

ETA: After a comment conversation at Mikey daily I've been thinking of Mikey dressed as a girl guide today -- do not blame me for this, I didn't start it. But! I was thinking he'd be the creepiest girl guide ever. You'd open the door a crack and he'd be standing there, staring into your soul, until finally you bought some cookies just to get him off your doorstep.

My first thought when I saw that twitter was "I knew it! He is a were chihuahua!" my second thought of course was "Awwwwwww!" It's nice being proved right by canon ;-D

I'm not really suprised by how bendy he is, but I will never stop being amazed that he can PLAY like that!

That's less than 1,500 words a day, you can totally do it!

Yep. Poor Mikey nearly had his ear torn off. The sad thing is, he got off lightly compared to some.

Ever since that whole conversation I can't stop thinking about it. It's turning into this thing. Where they're all out selling cookies and Ray's hair is exploding out from the bobble he's got it tied back in, and Bob's wearing striped knee socks that don't match the uniform at all! And Frank is tiny and smiley when he sells in contrast to Mikey who just stares until people give in.

ahahaha I totally almost posted a link to that picture as soon as I saw it on twitter yesterday but I literally could not think of anything coherent to say.

After that rundown, I'm really looking forward to your h/c story. It's all rainy andyucky here so this looks like a good day to reread Tints of Rainbow Hue (+ sequels, time permitting) and maybe manage to actually leave some feedback this time. I loved it the first time, and I think about it at random times so clearly I need to read it again. You rock. ;)

YES!

They'd be the failiest troop ever! But they're on a mission to sell as many cookies as possible, so they've got like, a whole crate of them, and one of those little red cart things and Bob and Ray are pulling it along. One of Bob's socks has slipped down and is crumpled around his ankle and Ray's sash is slipping off his shoulder.

Meanwhile Mikey is sitting on top of the cookies and sliding his hand into a box he slid open, passing out cookies to Frank who shoves them whole into his mouth, spraying crumbs as he talks.

I'm trying to decide if Mikey would sell cookies by virtue of his silent and creepy stare, or if his 'knowing everyone under the sun' mojo would work in his favor. But I'm loving the mental image of his knock-kneed stance with the green skirt and knee socks.

It's okay, the corpses are the flight crew, no band boys were hurt killed in the making of this story.

See, this is my problem too. On one hand, he would know everyone under the sun and could probably outsell everyone by using his contacts. I can see the others toiling away and knocking at doors, and then Mikey just sits there and goes casually at the end of the day. Btw, I sold 100 cases to the shop on the corner. But, on the other hand. I do love the idea of him standing on the doorstep and staring people into submission.
