It was a very awesome mail day today. sperrywink The card is awesome, and yes, I agree. He so would have had one of them. Thank you! ♥ Also, crowsgirl13 your postcard came. Thank you! ♥ James also got a signed postcard from Orange County Choppers, which gave him much glee.

After reading something on my friends list I keep randomly thinking of the Ways horse riding, and each time I do I have to stop and laugh a while. Then I feel mean because maybe they would be awesome at horse riding. At which point I start laughing again. I am sorry Way brothers! Ray however? I can see it.

I've just spent far too long watching the below clip, though I had to mute the sound in the end because it sounds like something from X Tube rather than You Tube. Mikey's face kills me, such a mixture of emotions, most of them along the lines of, 'I'm related to him' *g*

The Ways trying to ride horses is the most hilarious thing ever! I giggled so much when she mentioned that. They're soooo not outdoors-activities-guys :-)

They're really not. The only way I can imagine it is if they're dressed up for some kind of fantasy type shoot. Gerard swishing around in a cape and Mikey in thigh-high boots. But even then actually getting them up on the horses would be something to see.

They're beautiful! Also, very nice to look at when you've turned down Gerard's moaning.

Can you remember the Nsync footage where Justin fell off the horse on the beach? I'm imagining the MCR version now. The horses walking along, Gerard trying to emote while clutching desperately to the reins, Mikey's knees locked tight and all >:| Then THUMP! Gerard slides off and lands on the ground, at which point Ray, Frank and Bob point and laugh.

I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST GERARD HAVING SEX! I just had to turn the volume down because James is watching tv and it was being drowned out by the moans *g*

Of course, when it's Frank's turn on the horse he won't even be able to reach the stirrup because he's so short so he's got to be helped up in the saddle and then have the stirrup leathers shortened A LOT. The riding instructor assisting them will make cracks about Frank being shorter than some of his students and Frank will pout and Gerard and Mikey will laugh their asses off :-)

They just need American saddles. ANYONE can ride a horse with an American-style saddle. They're totally idiot-proof. It's like riding in a armchair.

Mikey has the legs to be an English rider (unngh how pretty would that be? In the top hat and tails and boots doing dressage on some giant black beast of a horse) and Ray has the thighs to be an English rider too, but Gerard would be the dirty, lazy, sloppy Western rider who keeps a nasty tempered pony that noone is small enough to ride because if not "he'll just get sent to the meat houses in Mexico! You guys don't want that!" with the big eyes and the earnest hands. At least, no one can ride the pony until Frank shows up to take his sister to a riding lesson. She didn't stay, but Frank did.

Holy shit when did this turn into an AU? No one's actually seen Bob ride, but he's always at the stables working with these big, shaggy draft horses.

Oh god. I may have just bunnied myself and made myself homesick for the stables all in one go.

I have to admit, I keep getting stuck imagining Mikey in the tails, hat and boots, because, yes please! Gerard's horse reminds me of Vin's in Mag 7 and yes! Of course Frank comes along to ride the pony!

I can see Gerard with a lazy old Quarter Horse who occasionally thinks he's two years old and takes off running with Gerard on his back, and since Gee can't bring himself to discipline (read: riding crop) the horse, he just hangs on for the ride and waits to slow down.
