As you know I had to wipe my Sky Box recently, so have been rebuilding the music recordings off Kerrang. One of them was a Pete Wentz study, basically FOB videos, with a video of Ashlee's and also surprisingly, Teenagers. Which was added because MCR is apparently Pete's favourite group, according to Kerrang anyway. Now, that was a surprise to me, because sure, I know he likes them, but his favourite group? Has anyone seen him actually say this or is it Kerrang's way of hinting at the hot love affair between Pete and Mikey?

I'm having so much fun at wrisomifu, going through the comments and cheering people on is such a great thing. Today I was even brave and cheered on some people I don't know. There's such a lovely sense of community there, people celebrating, cheering on and commiserating where needed.

Both my stories are going very nicely, and while I can't talk about one of them no doubt I'll be talking all your ears off about pre-school teacher Bob.

In fact, today has been nicely productive all round. The only bad thing is my leg is infected where I bashed it on the step. I knew there was a big chance that could happen and have been careful to take my antibiotics, but they haven't been enough and I'll need to hit the doctors tomorrow. Again. It feels like I haven't been away from the damn place lately.

To end on a good note. All you popslashers/ex popslashers need to go to musiclover03's post where she's got a you tube clip of Joey and Chris doing the BBB dance. Seeing it made me so gleeful.

Today he was talking to headmaster Ray, who was rocking the shiny shoes and Garfield tie!

They're not actually part of the school.

Bob took the job as a favour for Ray and very much sees it as a temporary position. He never expected this total career change and after graduating he expected to head back home and take a position in a big school somewhere. Get a steady paycheck and benefits and resign himself to a boring life now that his wrists are so fucked.

He's thinking a term only, just until Ray gets the school more established. So he's got this tiny apartment that he doesn't bother to decorate and goes out having one night stands, which is where he meets Mikey, who he really likes, but again, has no intention of staying so keeps it casual.

Basically, he ends up meeting Gerard and Frank through Mikey, and soon Bob is having pizza and games nights with them, and Ray too when he realises they know him also. But despite that, he's got this mind set that he's not setting down roots.

Which leads to misunderstandings and an actual plot beyond Bob being cute with kids.

It's very much a feel-good story with a fund raising concert and Bob being awesome. He just needs to find out where his home actually is :D

I agree. I love seeing everyone report in, and enjoy saying what I've done that day. Of course that may change when I hit the inevitable dip.

I doubt they'll ever forget the BBB dance. Seeing them do it was awesome.

Yeah, it kinda sucks. My legs are so screwed up any bump is a danger so I suspected it would happen, but still. Meh.

He loves 'his' kids!

One afternoon he rolls out a huge sheet of paper and does hand print painting and ends up with a picture of his hands in green surrounded by multiple tiny hand prints in all the colours of the rainbow.

On the wall outside his classroom there's a picture of everyone in the class, and Bob's chest.

When he realises one of his kids comes to school with no lunch he shares his sandwich, sitting on a tiny chair, his knees almost to his chin.
