This is a really awesome story! You write the pain they are experiencing so well without losing sight of their humanity and the interaction between them. That's one dark world they're living in, I am so happy they found a home in the end.
Also, I really liked the way you brought out the Mikey and Gerard relationship. And Ryan's hand in it :-)
