When I received this mix I wasn't sure what to expect, especially as I hadn't heard of a lot of the songs.



One listen and I realised exactly why the songs had been chosen. I'm so impressed that kuperkeikka managed to capture the feel of the story through music, especially in a pinch hit. I've listened multiple times now, and on every listen I picture Ryan and Mikey's journey. Especially Mikey's, how he sunk so low before struggling to pull himself up.

I fell in love with In Front of Me by Infected Mushroom, and it's the stand out song to me.

Why can't I see what's in front of me (x2)

and I'm asking myself why
Did I take the steps I wanted?
Was it just a state of mind
I feel sorry for myself everytime I close my eyes


To me, that's when Mikey's at his lowest point. He's made bad decisions and as hard as he's trying he can't make things better.

But then the mix progresses, and each song picks up a point in the story, and does so in such a way that it feels natural and right

I loved this mix so much. Thank you kuperkeikka. For taking the time to create such a fitting, gorgeous mix that's introduced me to new music to enjoy.
