I opened my TS file this afternoon, and it was like trying to force blood from a stone. The words just wouldn't come, which makes me even stupider for thinking about signing up for DWNOGA. In theory I love the idea, but my record with writing popslash isn't that good. Anybody that got a story from me would be getting the equivalent of a bag of coal instead of a cool present. But there's apparently going to be some kind of mentoring system which would be good, and maybe they could help me produce a decent story. I'll have to think about it for a while.
Loved the new picture of JC in his halloween get up. No idea what he's supposed to be but seeing his mask all I could think of was S&M, and another Chris pic too. Plus Howie looking mighty fine in his get up. It was a good day for sdb pics for sure.

Happy Halloween!

Where wherewhere wherewherewhere?
And Chris, too, of course... ..don't suppose there's a pic of the two together in costume? *grin*
PS: more acronym questions-
1)sbd? I know it equals pretty boybanders, but specifically?
2)DWNOGA? Huh?
-Thanks!

Okay, sbd stands for sparkling dancing boys *g*
DWNAGA is Don We Now Our Gay Apparel. Every year popslash does a secret santa story thing. It's pretty big, if you write a story someone will write one to your specifications in return. The site is here (http://www.juppy.org/santa/index.php) with the past two years stories and also where you can join up if you fancy dipping your toes into the sparkly writing world. I'm still undecided at the moment. I want to try on one hand but the other is screaming, no!

Listen to the hand that says "Yes!"

Though considering you've read what's probably the worst popslash I could write and still say do it, I'll take that as an encouraging sign.
Re: Happy Halloween!

I've liked what I've read of yours so far, the JC cake was absotively poilutely fabulous, and you've obviously got a grip on the characters. And if you're worried you don't, write it as a parody. Ham up Chris' energy, JC's artsy/spaciness, Justin's brattitude... ..it'll be FUN! And _we_ had fun bantering ideas about concerning golf b-day party pics, etc...
I'm gonna. Maybe we'll get assigned each other, lol. I've seen stranger things happen, and that'd be DAMN funny...

Date: 2003-11-01 12:10 pm (UTC)It will be fun and I'm sure we will have a great time thinking of ideas. The only problem I had was picking what pairings I wanted. I've an idea who you picked though ;)
If we get assigned to one another I'll go and pick a lottery line because my luck would be fantastic!
Thanks, Josh. You make all this sparkly stuff so much more fun when I share with someone.

I'm writing TS again, and The End is coming along, slowly but surely. I'd just written myself into a corner, so had to back out and delete some stuff.
I'm actually pleased at how it's going.
