That desfindo recslist is always one of the first ones I link ppl to when they're looking for Waycest. A lot of the fic on it is locked, though, which is always makes me sad. :(

Yeah, I think some people just post to their LJ's and are probably a bit scared of folks in their RL's discovering that they write RPF incest fic, especially is it's really explicit and I totally get that. Some people live in really conservative areas or work in delicate situations or have kids or crazy exes or whatever and so they're extra paranoid and just always keep their fic locked. I get it, but it's hard because if they stop writing and aren't on lj much, it can be hard to track them down in order to get added to read the ric and sometimes recslists aren't updated often and so fic that was public once upon a time is no longer public and it might be posted publicly somewhere else, but the reccer doesn't know that or doesn't know the link... it's all convoluted and crazy in RPF, I've run into this problem a lot in my most recent two fandoms. It doesn't seem to be as much of an issue in fictional fandoms. I completely understand people's paranoia, though. It just makes it harder to share.

I'm sure your delicious is just fine! When it's a pairing I love as much as I love Waycest, I just start reading down the list! Unless it's bad!fic, which I trust you not to bookmark, I will enjoy it. :)

I linked a friend on LJ who's newer to bandom to a couple of different Waycest recslists the other day and she tweeted me back the next day about how Waycest is just the most beautiful pairing ever and she can't get enough of it. I favorited the tweet immediately, it made me feel all warm and fuzzy! lol.
