Man, some of the screencaps make me want to watch all the interviews I have on my computer, and then I worry that I don't have some of the videos where the screencaps I'm from saved and WHY DON'T I HAVE BETTER ORGANIZATION WHEN IT COMES TO VIDEOS. *despairs*

Also, man, I was watching the MSG video where Gerard lifts Mikey up before, inspired by the first part of the picspam, and ugggh, favourite (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v240/turps332/Ways/mwd/black/gerard_picking_mikey_up-large-msg-122270360901.jpg). The way you can see his hands splayed out on his waist is totally my favourite part, it's just so... Idk, it seems so protective and careful and CLOSE to me. Um.

Awwwwww brothers! There is nothing more to say. Except sometimes they look SO MUCH like each other and sometimes not at all. And for some reason, although Mikey's changed looks quite often, it never strikes me like it does with Gerard, like he's not even the same person... Weird! Mikey is always Mikey *g*

I wonder if Mikey's look changes would make more of an impression if he went for say, bright blue hair or something. I mean, he's gone from bright blond, to black to blond again but never anything unnatural. He needs to step it up.

I think it might have to do with the way Gerard's weight fluctuates, as well. And Mikey's hairchanges have never been as radical as Gerard's, you're right. If he put on 10 pounds and shaved his head, or lost 10 (though god knows how, he'd have to lose a bone or 2, surely) and let his hair grow long, it might have the same effect. I think Gerard's transformation has a lot to do with how round or angular his face can be, and also the different characters he "plays" for each album. I have many thoughts about The Many Faces Of Gerard. I mean, obviously... lol

This is not the languid Mikey worship mirror-porn, but it's angsty Gerard mirror-porn with Mikey in charge. IDEK.

There's a smudge of black under Gerard's eye. He blinks as Mikey's finger (wet with saliva) rubs it away gently. Gerard takes a deep drag of his cigarette and watches as the red-haired man in the mirror exhales slowly. Mikey's fingertip still rests on the tender, sensitive skin under his eye. Gerard takes another drag and holds the smoke up to Mikey. His brother's lips brush his fingers as he inhales deeply and something sparks in a hidden place he doesn't look to closely at inside his body. His own next inhale is shaky. Mikey grabs his chin and turns his face a bit, Gerard still only looks at them in the mirror. Two strangers, people Gerard made up in his mind. They could be anyone, everyone, they could even be not related. The boys in the mirror are desert-rats, dirty and exhausted and with a fucking mission. The most important thing is that they aren't Mikey and Gerard Way. Don't share the same name. Or blood.
The blond man's fingers tangle in the red strands, tug lightly. Gerard doesn't give in. He can't. He can't turn around and look. The blond man sighs and Mikey's breath hits his skin. He leans down, kisses his cheek and then further down and Gerard can't look away from the blond man's fingers in the red strands, the lips on that dirty skin. He bites his lip and sees the man in the mirror do the same. Is afraid to look in his eyes, is afraid what he'll see there.
A hand creeps slowly over his shoulder, his arm, presses into the crook of his elbow and the man in the mirror moans. Gerard can feel Mikey's smile against his skin. He wants to close his eyes, but he can't look away. Just can't. Needs to see this, because... Another sharp tug and a soft bite to his shoulder. He grabs at the chair, curls his fingers around the wooden edge. Mikey hums into his skin. The blond man's fingers untangle from the red hair, and he runs his hand over his chest, down, down, down, so slowly to the red-haired man's lap. Teases him through his pants, Gerard inhales sharply, bites his lip to keep words in. The hand in the mirror unbuttons and unzips the pants, slips into the boxers as Gerard spreads his legs for better access. A bit too dry, a bit too harsh, but that's okay, the desert is hot and dry. The other hand presses down into that tender skin of his arm again just as he begins to stroke the red-haired man's dick. Gerard's hands curl tighter around the edges of the chair. He can hear and feel Mikey's harsh breathing. He has the insane urge to turn around, grab him and crush their mouths together, but he can't, he can't... The fingers on his arm (short nails biting into veins) and his dick tighten and Gerard closes his eyes as he comes from the sensation's curling around him. The images in the mirror. The moist breath against his neck.

When Gerard opens his eyes, catching his breath, he sees Mikey lean forward, close to the mirror and press a soft kiss to the red-haired man's lips. He grabs for Mikey's hand, but Mikey slips away. Stands behind the chair Gerard's sitting in. He runs a finger softly (innocently) over Gerard's neck, it makes Gerard shiver, and whispers: “Keep pretending.”
