I saw the picture of Gerard with the kid and just about melted. As for his hat. That is not a disguise GFett!

But man, Gerard the faily bank robber would be awesome! As is robot!Mikey.

Together they rule the underworld! Or try to, in reality they run away a lot and spend time hiding and trying to stop Mikey getting rusty.

Gerard has an entire club of supporters! It's made up of Frank and Ray, mostly, but sometimes Bob comes along. They mostly stand in front of the bank and cheer Gerard on when he walks in. "You can do it today!"

And Gerard always goes in, and he's fucking ready, all right? But then he always turns around and runs away again. He's not ready, okay? He's not!

Mikey would do it, but he can't move his arm that well because one of the screws came loose and he lost it and they haven't found a replacement yet.

I'm imagining that and grinning like a fool. Gerard all tough and insistent that today is the day he's going to get that money. Then he sees all the people and just turns and goes and Frank looks at him and goes, 'Again? Seriously?' and Ray would pat Gerard on the back and tell him tomorrow is his day for sure, and Bob would just shake his head as Mikey gives Gerard a one-armed hug.

They've tried getting him help. But all the "bank robbery for dummies" didn't help and they're actually starting to lose faith. but they can't let gerard know that because he's so HOPEFUL when he says "tomorrow".

and they really need the money because mikey needs a new arm, and his leg is getting rusty and no matter what they do, they can't keep it from rusting!

I'm thinking Gerard actually manages to get some money one day, but when he does he feel so guilty that he turns around and gives it back.

And Bob gets really annoyed, so he grabs Gerard's hat, puts it on and marches into the bank to get the money back. And then he buys Mikey the most beautiful new arm and leg.

Oh yes! Ray'd fix it all! And then he'll tell Gerard that he won't have to rob the bank after all and Gerard is so relieved because honestly, that girl working at the bank is so nice, she complimented him on his EYELASHES, how could he ever rob the bank now?

Now that Mikey can move both his arms again he...doesn't do anything anyway, just stands and stares.

But then Gerard suddenly remembers - fuel! Mikey winds down the longer he goes without his coffee, and it's been a whole 6 hours since he's last had any. He must be close to catatonic shock by now - oh now, what will they do? *panics*

All the coffeeshops around are closed already and 911 won't listen when Gerard says it's an emergency! There really needs to be a coffee help line. In the end they pull a mcguiver and buy coffee grounds at a store. They don't really mix with water, but with a lot of shaking Bob turns it into something that can at least be drunken. They can get mikey proper coffee once he's stable

Mikey has been fading more and more as the seconds tick by. Gerard lies on the ground, holding Mikey in his arms. "Don't die, Mikey!" he sobs as Mikey's eyes close.

Frank hovers behind them, biting his lip and wringing his hands. Just in time Bob rushes back with the emergency coffe and they pour it down Mikey's refuellying tube. For a moment there is no sound but that of Gerard trying to hold back his tears, then with a rush of relief Mikey coughs as the coffee begins to hit the spot.

But when Mikey opens his eyes he's looking at them all :| because what the fuck was that? It sure wasn't coffee. Not the good one anyway. He's a man of standards, when it comes to coffee.

They're all too happy that he's awake again though, so they don't mind him bitching. Gerard tells him the story of how Bob is totally a hero and brought the emergency coffee and Mikey looks at him all :| and says "Thanks."
