Nov. 6th, 2003 02:08 pmI've been reading the entries I did yesterday, and man, I really need to work on sounding more than 5 years old. I am sensible and mature sometimes I assure you *g* I'll do a sensible post later about what I think about the new series of MX, and shove it behind a cut as lets face it, only a few of you appreciate the pretty mutants ;)
The fireworks were good last night. We watched the big display then James brought home some for the garden. He does every year even though they're really not worth it. I think he just likes blowing things up *g* Highlight of the night was when I hammered a catherine wheel into our shed door and had to watch as it didn't move and just blistered all the paint. It was so awesome (/sarcasm)
Kayleigh's been down all morning. She was telling me more about what happened yesterday. The boss called her into his office and told her she wasn't up to the job and fired her. The same boss that had only been with the firm since Monday, so how was he supposed to know how she worked? It just seems suspicious that she's been fired just after she turned 18, when the minimum wage law comes into effect. The boss fired her then asked if she'd work until Wed. At what point she told him to fuck off and walked out, something that normally I'd disagree with, but in the circumstances all I think is 'go you!'
Can anyone tell me when you're feeling all crampy and grungy you have to break out in spots too? I'm too old for spots, not that they seem to understand that. I also have bright purple hands just now. I've been pickling beetroot and the juice got everywhere. Bright purple fingers is *not* a good look.

Date: 2003-11-07 12:31 am (UTC)lol My fault!? _YOU_ told ME about it, lol. But glad I convinced you to join.
...But I forgive you ;) ...
*snort* no comment, 'cept it's sad when you need a boost into your own fandom, lol
...But, man, have you left time to do any actual real life stuff with all that writing? Not that I want to stop you, I like sappy MX fic. Hey, will Adam be cooking his pumpkin pie?
What con are you going to?...
Real Life? What's that? That's when I go to work... *bleah* And it's a gaming con I've gone to for a few years now, a friend of mine has been running it for over a decade, he's been gaming longer than I've been alive, and the attendance is expected to hit 200+ this year... ..yayness!
...The crap's gonna hit the fan for our poor mutant heroes first time I write after New Year
That's what I like to hear!...
Heh. Send me that feedback on "Omega" part 1 & I'll see how bad I can get... *Wicked Grin of Evil Glee*
