Just came home about an hour ago after being out for the day. I always feel that time flies on a Sunday but that's because I don't get up till late. It was 10 this morning, woke up to Corey getting in bed with me so we had a cuddle for while. He was sick again last night, he's had the worst luck with getting ill lately. This time he has a cold, and it's on his chest. So I'm spending all my time telling him that if he'd blow his nose he wouldn't feel sick.

But in himself he's not that bad so we went to our usual Sunday dinner out. We picked a Mexican restaurant which was cool. It had cati streamers and chillis everywhere. TAcky and cliched sure but it was a fun place. I had chicken fajitas just for a change *g* James asked for a medium steak but it was a little too medium for him ick Talking about ick fried ice cream was on the desert menu so we had to try it. Double ick!

We've been pricing TV's today too. Our set is on it's way out. It takes about 30 minutes for the picture coming on now and the colours are really off. The problem is it's a huge tv and we really don't want to down size, which means serious money. Why couldn't the thing have held on until new year? :(

We drove to the beach on the way home. It was dark but the cliff top cafe was open so we had coffees in the car watching the waves below. They were so still, just breaking a little at the waters edge. In the distance you could see the lights on the fishing boats bobbing about in the black of the water. It was cold so frost was on the ground, sparkling like a million tiny lights, such a beautiful place to be. I love the ocean so much, and sitting with hot coffee watching the waves and listening to the charts with my two men is just one of my special times. We drove past all the houses that are decorated for christmas on the way home. There's some awesome ones, totally tacky but I love that. Of course James wanted to put our stuff up but I put my foot down. Traditionally we decorate on Dec 1st, James' birthday. This year that's the day he starts his new job so who knows what will happen.
