My MiL is so much better. It was a scary time having her in hospital so long. I don't know what was worse, her being in there or mam with legal notes saying she wouldn't go on.

My desk did survive the move, and all the decorating is done. Though I need to still paint the downstairs toilet. That shouldn't take long at all, just the thought of picking up another paintbrush at the time made me shudder.

You've reminded me. I need to take photos of the finished living room and share them. Later I think.
