Nov. 30th, 2003 10:36 pmIt probably wasn't the best idea to go shopping today because just now my energy levels are hovering just above zero. Unfortunately we didn't have a choice. Visited nanna and grandad, and dad was there which was cool. Got the usual back handed compliment from nanna. We were looking through photo albums and she pointed out one of me when I was a kid, saying 'you used to be so pretty' Grandad is still really poorly, as much as it hurts to say if he survives next year I'll be surprised.
After that we went to Sunderland shopping, took Corey to see Santa...Santa eeeeee!!...and bought some presents. I didn't stay too long at the grotto as my nose is so red I might have been mistaken for Rudolf *g* Then came home, visited mam and put the Christmas tree up. It looks so beautiful. Our tree isn't themed at all, it's full of everything that we liked the look of and all Corey's decorations. The lights are in one window, only 4 more to go but they'll have to wait because I'm shattered. I felt better this morning, but now feel as bad as I did yesterday. Sore throat, headache the lot.
The idea of getting up so early in the morning isn't helping either. James starts his new job and has to be there by 8.30, which means a 6.00 wake up. 6 weeks at 6am that isn't something I'm looking forward to at all.

Date: 2003-11-30 04:21 pm (UTC)lol, I'll still be up, chat me if you're not flying about trying to get everything ready to go with the new routine.
You'll survive; you're a trooper, and hey, it's only six weeks. At least it's not PERMANENT...
Wishing James (and you, of course!) luck!! ^-^
