So much hate indeed!

It's such a frustrating situation because I'm sure back in the day the building planners didn't expect so many power hungry appliances would be around, therefore the lack of sockets. But at the same time, that doesn't help now when you have to use extensions or in your case, stick to one socket only.

I've just been listening to the weather forecast and they were saying it's going to be unseasonably warm all week with sunshine. Which is lovely, but weird. It feels like we haven't have a real winter at all.

The egg is still there. I overestimated the length of my arms and the hose couldn't blast it off. We used to have a window cleaner but he hasn't been seen for months now. So I think I'll have to buy the gadget Starwatcher linked to above because the dried on egg doesn't look good.
