My shoulders are killing me today. I guess that's what I get for carrying heavy bags then hanging out of windows batting at lights with my hockey stick :(

I've been playing hooky today and had a nap on the couch as soon as Corey went to school. Fell asleep watching classic X-Files and woke up about 2 hours later when the phone rang. I'm feeling a little guilty about it because James is at work and Corey at school and there's me asleep on the couch. But man, I needed it.

But I'm putting my foot down about going shopping tonight. I'm shopped out and I want to eat something that doesn't come from a fast food place. I also want to look up some Christmas cookie recipes for Corey and I to make. I'm not a good cook so they have to be easy and have chocolate *g* I'd make Christmas cake but it's the cake of Satan with those nasty currents and disgusting dried fruit, cookies will be so much better!

I also have to get writing. It's scary how fast the deadline is coming, especially as I need time for people to beat the story into shape. It's actually nearly finished, I just need uninterrupted time to sit and do it. That is if I can actually think to write, castalie has been putting perverted ideas about hockey sticks in my mind *eg*

Its been so interesting seeing the regional words meme going round, especially as kifty was just telling me how she can tell that I'm a Brit from my posts. I love how words that mean the same thing differ depending on location.

YAY, a card from Charlie just came. Thank you hon!

You're right I know, I just get paranoid sometimes and forget why I hurt. Then I sit and think, you were hanging out of the bedroom window with a heavy hockey stick in one hand taking slap shots at lights no wonder your shoulders hurt *g*
