Yes, George Bush is a Republican, and Kerry is a Democrat. Kerry is hoping to be the Democratic candidate for the presidency. American politics is very confusing to me! (mind you, Canadian politics is confusing too... Why was Joe Clark Prime Minister for such a short time?)

I just hope that ballots get standardized or simplified for this election!
