Before Covid I always used to book my next blood donation session when I was leaving the one I'd just done. Since Covid that wasn't possible, and for various reasons I hadn't made a new appointment after the last time.
I could donate again from yesterday, and the blood people phoned me three times during the day. I didn't pick up the first two as they used the landline and I tend to ignore anyone using that as it's usually marketers. But then the third time they phoned when I was in the middle of watching the season finale of UK Drag Race and I was not amused! Not their fault I know and I would have booked an appointment as soon as I realised I could so it was good they did phone and get it arranged, but still! Such bad timing.
Interruption aside, I enjoyed the ep and am sad Drag Race is over for the year, even if my favourite didn't win.
I've been reading more Downton Abbey lately and man, Thomas gets woobified a lot. So many tears and getting tucked under blankets, and yet somehow, I keep reading.
Now though, my ep of The Falcon and The Winter Soldier has just finished downloading, so I'm off to watch that.

Date: 2021-03-20 03:31 pm (UTC)They phoned at 8:30 in the morning, then around lunchtime, and then again at about 7 in the evening.
They're lucky I answered at all really as normally I ignore the landline. Plus, I make, rearrange, check appointments via the app and get reminders via text and email. So it's not like they couldn't get in touch in other ways.

Our landline is hardly used at all. I'm surprised when it rings because I keep forgetting about it.
