Pansy ended up having to go to the vets again today as she started fitting this morning. She was going to Simply Cats at first but when James phoned from work he gave the PDSA a ring and managed to get an emergency appointment. He also got a few hours unpaid leave so was able to come get us to drive to the vets. Pansy has two kinds of meds, one only for emergencies, and has to take them for a month to see if it makes a difference. If no change then she can go onto steroids too, if that doesn't work, well there's nothing else to do. But it's in her favour she's been fine this last week after the first episode.
The PDSA is harder to get to, and a bit inconvenient in that as James gets the tax credits he's the one who has to go to appointments etc. But considering this visit cost us only £26 instead of the nearly £300 at Simply Cats last time, well we'll make it work. Plus, the vets are lovely there too.
To add to the stressful morning, my MiL has been admitted to hospital with a nosebleed that just won't stop. Nothing serious I don't think but also not a phone call I wanted while trying to sort out vets.
On a lighter note. My McDonald's bauble came today and it's even more hideously tacky than I expected.
