Jan. 23rd, 2022 03:00 pmWe did another tip run this morning, and I have to admit, I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself and the progress being made.
I even got rid of some stuff from the hallway cupboard of doom, which means once I get that cleared more I can take stuff like the family photos from my Inlaws that are spilling out of a bottom shelf in the living room and store them out of sight.
Sunday must be a busy tip day as the only slot I could book was 8:20, so everything was done and dusted before 9. So we celebrated with a Tim Hortons breakfast. At £2:45 they're still fantastic value and they had a new option of a veggie wrap which was delicious, as was the oat milk cinnamon latte I tried.
Attempting to eat down the freezers/food stock is also going well, though I did buy 24 cans of tuna at Lidl today. It was on special, buy one get one free and as James takes tuna salad for his bait every day it made sense to stock up.
Now the house is tidy and James is playing up in his new craft room and I'm going to catch up online a bit.
Kayleigh just messaged asking if I wanted to go see my aunt on Tuesday, but that's the day I'm going to the theatre. Also, my Snowflake day, not that I told her that *g* No doubt we'll be going soon though as Lucy is back to work tomorrow and Kayleigh will be starting her solo maternity leave so I suspect I'll see her more often than usual.
