We did another tip run this morning, and I have to admit, I'm feeling pretty pleased with myself and the progress being made.

I even got rid of some stuff from the hallway cupboard of doom, which means once I get that cleared more I can take stuff like the family photos from my Inlaws that are spilling out of a bottom shelf in the living room and store them out of sight.

Sunday must be a busy tip day as the only slot I could book was 8:20, so everything was done and dusted before 9. So we celebrated with a Tim Hortons breakfast. At £2:45 they're still fantastic value and they had a new option of a veggie wrap which was delicious, as was the oat milk cinnamon latte I tried.

Attempting to eat down the freezers/food stock is also going well, though I did buy 24 cans of tuna at Lidl today. It was on special, buy one get one free and as James takes tuna salad for his bait every day it made sense to stock up.

Now the house is tidy and James is playing up in his new craft room and I'm going to catch up online a bit.

Kayleigh just messaged asking if I wanted to go see my aunt on Tuesday, but that's the day I'm going to the theatre. Also, my Snowflake day, not that I told her that *g* No doubt we'll be going soon though as Lucy is back to work tomorrow and Kayleigh will be starting her solo maternity leave so I suspect I'll see her more often than usual.

Continued congrats on your space clearing! And yay for a hearty stock of tuna. As someone who tends to eat a lot of the same thing day to day, I am all in favor of stocking up when the right things are available.

24 cans! Now that's a right and proper amount, that is. :D

You are going GREAT guns with the decluttering and sorting, and sounds like a well deserved breakfast, too!

I had to laugh at the tuna, but that was far too good a deal on something you'll definitely use to pass by - plus tuna tins are objectively quite wee.

I'm totally in awe of how energetic and productive you're being right now!

Sounds like James is appreciating his new crafts room very much, yay!

I too have been known to buy tuna in huge bulk purchases. It is a valid life choice which requires no justification, because tuna is both versatile and delicious :)

I ~thought so, but wanted to make sure. *g*

I do love some tuna salad. My favorite is a tuna melt. I was introduced to it at college.
