It took to episode 9 but finally, I'm itching to see the next episode of House of the Dragon to find out what happens next. I enjoyed episode 8 a lot.

I've also been watching my way through The Bear on Disney +. It only has a short season but each episode is packing a punch.

Bros in on a special Limitless screening this Thursday at Odeon. I really want to see the film but it's not on until 8:45 pm and that's a big nope from me. I'll wait for the regular screenings in the next couple of weeks.

Milo has his nails cut at Simply Cats yesterday and while I was there I asked about his fur as he's not grooming his sides very well. The vet nurse suspects he has arthritis going on, made worse as he's tripawed and suggested he gets seen as he probably needs painkillers. So we've sent in an email to the PDSA to get an appointment and hopefully, they'll agree it's an actual emergency otherwise it'll be going back to Simply Cats and starting the vet bill up again because whatever happens, I'm not leaving him in pain.

It was flu jab time on Monday and I got mine along with James. We got to see a nurse we've known for ages and it took longer to have a bit of a natter than it did to get the actual jabs, no major side effects for either of us apart from a headache for me and James having a nap on the couch for a few hours, though that's nothing unusual for an afternoon lately. After the doctors, we went to see Kayleigh and Bodhi to hear all about their holiday.

My MiL is coming to stay for the weekend from Friday. It's a bit of an awkward timing as it's the christening on Sunday and after the ceremony, everyone is heading out for a meal. So, the plan was for my MiL to come to church then we'd have to drop her off back at our house as the meal is immediate family only. Which yeah, awkward and I feel bad about having to bring her back, but Kayleigh and Lucy really do want a small group only. But, as it is my MiL has had a horrible cold and depending on access at the church may not go to the actual ceremony either. I guess we'll see how she feels on the day.

What I will need to do is clear the garden path as no way will her wheelchair fit down there atm as it has leftover roof planks on one side and plants in pots on the other. Though to be honest, the whole garden could do with a tidy as it's full of fallen leaves and dying summer plants. Except for the rose bush, that thing is still flowering and seems indestructible.

ETA: Well looks like we're going to have to scratch the above as my SiL just phoned to say my MiL finally went to the doctors and he wants to send her to the hospital as she's not breathing right. James has been telling her for days now to make an appointment and she wouldn't, saying she was feeling better. I wish she'd realise that not seeking medical help when needed ends up with hospital visits but that never seems to sink in.
