Oct. 31st, 2022 10:11 amFor the first time in nearly a fortnight we got mail today, including something from
pensnest ♥
I assume they must have brought in outside contractors as the guy delivering wasn't wearing a postal uniform, he just looked like someone off the street, but with a very bulging mailbag.
My MiL was moved to a ward yesterday, still on the heart unit but at least she'll have other patients to talk to now. The move does mean a change in possible visiting times, instead of 45 minutes for two people between one and five, it's now an hour visit between 3-4 and 6-7. But, another step forward.
The vet phoned about Milo not long ago, and agreed it sounded like it was arthritis and he'd need painkillers but said due to his advanced age it was better to see him in person, and all I could think was, you think? That should have been obvious from the first.
That means tomorrow goes like this. B12 at the doctor at 10:30, off to the hospice for bandaging at 11:30, leave there no doubt hobbling like a mummy to try and catch Milo to get him to the vet for 2. As the vet and hospice are in the same general area I guess we could take Milo to the appointment and James stay with him in the car, but that doesn't seem fair to Milo. Though I suppose he could come out of his carrier and hang with James in the backseat while I'm away.
Also this morning I did a kitchen post including photos. Since Photobucket went to paid I've used LJ's scrapbook for hosting photos but the new editing interface is unusable now so I really need to find somewhere else. I know DW has photo hosting but the last time I used that it wasn't as easy as using scrapbook. But now scrapbook is borked I guess I need a revisit.
So you're all spared that post for now *g*
