turpsI've just been watching the new video/song FOB have released -- another one, we're being spoilt. And it's good to see them as themselves and being as ridiculous as ever. Each new song makes me even more eager for the album.
Talk about Panic yesterday, FOB today, I am waiting for news MCR, just saying. Or I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for RyRo to show his face. Either will do.
James phoned my MiL earlier and during the conversation, she asked if she could come to stay for the weekend next month, and said a few times, I know it'll be Terri's birthday, but just leave me in the house if you go out, I'll be okay. Which yeah, couldn't do that and she's lucky as we had vague plans to go away overnight to York but couldn't make it work in the end.
Other than that, I got my first posting pack for the mail survey this morning, so will be starting that again from the 7th of next month. Went to try and send my parcel again and they still won't accept international parcels, though will take letters so hopefully things have started to move a little. Then picked up a parcel that had been sent to a delivery hub at a shop. Except I'd been watching the tracking and the driver actually stopped about ten stops before mine and then said they'd attempted to deliver and no one was in, so took the parcel to the shop. Which was news to me as I'd been sitting in the living room actively tracking the delivery.
It wasn't even for anything nice, a new product of raspberry and hibiscus lemonade to test, and to be honest, I can't say I'm a fan.

I've only had hibiscus in herbal teas but I'm very much NOT a fan. It makes the tea far too astringent for my taste.

Date: 2023-01-29 01:01 pm (UTC)I've tried to send the same parcels three times now, so it is frustrating. I have to hope the fact they're accepting letters was a good sign and next time will be the charm parcel-wise.

Astringent is the perfect description. It left a bad aftertaste which isn't what you want when you're drinking what's supposed to be a nice, refreshing drink.

I can well believe it. I still haven't managed to send my parcel and keep checking every few days to see what has changed. Last time I checked businesses could send internationally again, which seems like a good step. But still a no go for personal packages.

But they turned into such a mess with members leaving and being replaced and those replacements leaving until it was only Brendon left. I'll think fondly of Panic V2, but have no feelings of sadness at all now it's finally over.
