turpsWe're having a lazy day in the turps household today. Just finishing the food from last night, vol a vonts (sp?) and pickled onions for breakfast...yum!
That reminds me. When I was making the vol a vonts last night with James some of them came out of the oven lop sided. Great hilarity ensured when James stated they were bent and wasn't that typical....I suppose you had to be there, and drinking vodka+tizer drinks like I was *g*
James has been watching James Bond on tv, and I detest those movies with the power of a thousand firey suns. I HATE JAMES BOND! He's chauvinistic, he makes my skin crawl and I just can't watch any JB movies, so I've been watching my BSB Around the World DVD on Silver instead.
I love watching this DVD. Everyone of them are at the top of the hotness scale. Kevin especially, his hair is just beautiful, so glossy and smooth. I just want to run my hands over it. Also, Brian makes me smile a whole lot.
There's so many moments that stand out. First seeing the plane, Kevin poking around in the cargo area. The bed, even though we're robbed on seeing them all on it. AJ and his 'you have one minutes worth of water to shower ' *g* Their faces when they think no ones came to see them at the first stop. Kevin catching the bra and putting it on AJ, so many moments that I love. But there's one that just makes me go eep. It's only about a second long and it's Kevin straightening Nick's poncho thing, and man, I love it. I may have re-watched that moment about 678302 times.
Rio still scares me though. How they didn't freak at all those people banging on the bus I don't know. That was crazy, and people wonder why celebs go off the rails when they're worshiped like that. The pressure must be immense. Then later, watching all the fans just move as a mass from the balcony, that's amazing. Though I kept wanting to shout out to Kevin, get down from the scaffolding you idiot!
So yes, a good afternoon of BSB watching. Bond is still on, how long do these freaking movies last?
Hmm what icon for the first post of the year? It was hard but it has to be Brennan, because he's still my boy and I love him!
